If you adopt from FURever FURkids Sanctuary & Rescue, You will be required to sign a contract. You MUST contact us at [email protected] if you are not able to keep the pet you adopted from us. If we do not have room, you will need to keep the pet until a foster or a FURever home is found. There is a $30 return fee, if pet was adopted over 4 months prior to returning. All vet records must be given to us as well. If pet is returned within 3 days, the adoption fee minus $20 will be refunded. The $20 we keep, is to help cover a part of the gas and time spent doing the adoption. If pet is returned within 4-7 days, 1/2 of the adoption fee will be refunded. After 7 days, there is no refund of the adoption fee.

Meet Lainey

Lainey was surrendered to our rescue before she was about to be surrendered to a kill shelter because they were not able to keep her.

She is so sweet and loves to cuddle and give kisses! She is great with other pets and all people. Some of the older dogs here aren’t always her biggest fans, since she’s a typical puppy though. lol

Lainey was born towards the end of November 2024 we believe. She is updated on her 1st puppy shot and has started heartworm prevention. She will be spayed, updated on the rest of her shots, and microchipped on March 11th. Of course, like all dogs, she must be kept on heartworm prevention all of her life!

The adoption fee is $350 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to her adopter(s) at the time of adoption.

*We do home checks for each pet before approving an adoption.*

The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. We do keep our website and Petfinder updated regularly.

Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply.

Braylee is such a good girl. She didn’t have any accidents today. She seems to enjoy her crate. I just leave the door open to the crate once I’m home and she’ll just lay in it with the door open.

She loves running around in the fenced back yard, but she needs to always be watched outside (even in a fenced yard). She’s not climbed my fence thankfully, but she can climb out of any play pen or baby gate I’ve put her in. 😂

Her vetting will be completed on March 25th and as long as she is still healthy and heartworm free, she’ll be available afterwards.

The boy, Jax was heartworm positive and so I got attached and he never went anywhere! lol He is 1 of 4 that sleep in the bed with me every night now! lol 😂 Happy 2nd Gotcha Day Jax! 🎉 (oh and BTW he is heartworm negative now of course)

Another Bear 🐻 and PJ PUPdate! Sorry, not sorry! 😂 These 2 have always been happy boys, but I think they might be extra happy now! They are getting to sleep in the same bedroom with their dad and mom now too, which I always love to hear! 🥰

I have not been able to get Anna to eat dry dog food AT ALL (tried 3 different brands and even put water on it to make it soft) Unfortunately that meant, she was not gaining any weight! So, it’s wet dog food, bread (she loves bread), and dog treats for this girl! Hopefully since learning this, she’ll start gaining weight.🤞🏻 BTW I try to mix a few pieces of dry food in the wet food and she leaves the few dry food pieces! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Our Story

Established in 2011, FURever FURkids Sanctuary & Rescue is a privately run rescue in Ooltewah, TN (near Chattanooga).

All of our sanctuary/rescue pets have come from situations such as being on death row at shelters, owners who can no longer keep them, or even rescued from heartbreaking situations.

Each rescued pet is kept in foster homes until a FURever home is found. If no home can be found, they become a sanctuary pet. Every pet is spayed/neutered (if of age), current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and dogs are heartworm tested, (if the dog is over 6 months) prior to adoption.
