If you adopt from FURever FURkids Sanctuary & Rescue, You will be required to sign a contract. You MUST contact us at [email protected] if you are not able to keep the pet you adopted from us. If we do not have room, you will need to keep the pet until a foster or a FURever home is found. There is a $30 return fee, if pet was adopted over 4 months prior to returning. All vet records must be given to us as well. If pet is returned within 3 days, the adoption fee minus $20 will be refunded. The $20 we keep, is to help cover a part of the gas and time spent doing the adoption. If pet is returned within 4-7 days, 1/2 of the adoption fee will be refunded. After 7 days, there is no refund of the adoption fee.

Stephanie Wolfe Hodges freshened up Pippa 1 more time before she goes home this weekend. 💕 The first groom was an emergency clean up from all the matts/poo/fleas. She’s learning what being a spoiled princess 👑 means now! 😊

Oh and BTW Boo decided she wanted to get in the picture too. 😂 She is still waiting for her FURever home!🏡

Fleas and ticks are awful! This will last 1 month, but it does fleas/ticks/and heartworms all in 1 pill. This is why we have to ask more for some dogs, just so we can break even. Right now we’re barely breaking even. 🤷🏻‍♀️

His owners were FOUND!! They had been looking for him and picked him up. I’m so glad he hadn’t made the trip here as planned yesterday. Glad it was stalled 1 more day and Shaggy gets to go back home! 😊

He was found as a stray several days ago in Ider, AL. His founder checked him for a microchip, posted on social media, took him by the shelter to file a report, and contacted vets in the area with no luck findings his owner. 😞

Unfortunately her dogs are not a fan and he is not a fan being crated often, so yeah…he’s coming here tomorrow. He will be off stray hold soon and we will of course have him vetted.

More info tomorrow evening once he’s here. Now I just have to find another open spot somewhere to keep him since I wasn’t taking anymore until I had another adoption or 2. Lol 🤷🏻‍♀️ Saturday I should have 2 get their FURever homes, but I’m taking 2 more the same day. Seriously….drowning 💧

Niles and Pippa did great! 🎉 Both are now spayed/neutered, all shots updated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and will start their heartworm/flea/tick pill tomorrow.

BTW Pippa is already pending adoption too with a Pom savvy/special needs adopter!!! 💕

There was a cancellation at Dixie tomorrow so Niles gets to squeeze in a week earlier. 🎉

Now both Niles and Pippa will be spayed/neutered, shots updated, heartworm tested, and microchipped tomorrow. 🙌🏻

Then hopefully officially ready to find their FURever homes very soon!

UPDATE:
Dr. G said all I had guessed. She is deaf and can see very little. She is 6 months old based on her teeth and her f***l is negative! A negative f***l where she came from is miracle to me! 🙌🏻💕 She does have some discharge in her ears, so that will be taken care of.

Pippa is getting checked over by the vet today (f***l, eyes/ears checked, etc). She doesn’t seem too happy about it. 🤣

Her spay, shots, heartworm test, and microchip appointment is tomorrow!

Our Story

Established in 2011, FURever FURkids Sanctuary & Rescue is a privately run rescue in Ooltewah, TN (near Chattanooga).

All of our sanctuary/rescue pets have come from situations such as being on death row at shelters, owners who can no longer keep them, or even rescued from heartbreaking situations.

Each rescued pet is kept in foster homes until a FURever home is found. If no home can be found, they become a sanctuary pet. Every pet is spayed/neutered (if of age), current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and dogs are heartworm tested, (if the dog is over 6 months) prior to adoption.
