Sometimes getting good behavior out of a dog is more than “run the energy out of them.” This mama needed to learn to let someone else lead so she could enjoy the walk sans all that anxiety. And her high energy pup needed a different leash type to help reduce pulling. Small adjustments and awareness of their needs and we are developing good habits and relaxed, trusting patterns from these two rescues. If you need help with your dog, a walk schedule can make a world of difference. Walking goes beyond that energy release. Use it to develop the bond and understand your dog’s needs.

Walking this sweetheart to get her some time away from her puppy and some solid exercise. Dog mom self care! We worked leash behavior and she got a solid praise and petting at the end.
