Bill and I would like to thank everyone who's become a part of our fur family over the years. We've met and made some wonderful friends over the years.
We are sad to announce that due to covid issues we are no longer breeding Sibes. This was a hard decision for me personally as I love the Siberian breed and introducing them to new families. For everyone that has or has had one of our beautiful fur babies thank you so much for 13 years of amazing stories and pictures. We will miss sharing our home and love of Sibes with each of you.
I'd love for anyone that can to please post a new picture of your fur baby for us to see. I puppy picture and current picture would be amazing to see.

Please take a look away the following news report from the FDA about foods that could potentially harm your dogs. It warns that large breeds like our beloved Siberians could be at risk freon these foods. I hope this helps everyone make an informed decision on what to feed their fur babies. Thankfully the brands I recommend are not on this list but I realize not everyone uses my recommendations so wanted to share. Hope everyone is doing great.

FDA has been looking into a link between pet food and a canine heart condition. The FDA identifies 16 problem food brands for pet dogs on Thursday.

On Sunday we had a fire at our home. We were able to get all our fur babies out and to safety. I was even able to rescue our cat, Paisley. Some of you live in our area and knew immediately but most of you don't and I wanted to personally let everyone know we are safe. Our house and everything we own is a total loss but that is stuff and can be replaced. I'm thankful and completely blessed that no one was injured. I want to thank everyone that has reached out to us. Once we figure out what to do next I'll try to keep everyone updated. Thank you again for your thoughts, well wishes, and prayers.

Sorry everyone. I had unexpected eye surgery on Thursday and now my vision is messed up. I can't read clearly. I'm having another eye surgery in the morning with the hopes it will fix my vision. As soon as I can see or my husband can help me type up the information I'll send out the deposit emails. Should be no later than Sat. Rest assured your spots are still being held. It's CONFIRMED, we're expecting fur babies. We're should have one set just before Halloween and one the 1st week of Nov. Yay!!!
We'll start accepting deposits in October. There are several people on our notify list so please keep in mind fur babies are held in the order we receive deposits. I will send a PM to everyone on the list the first week of Oct and start accepting deposits the same day. You can comment on this post to make sure you are on the list if toy should like. We are so excited to have for babies again here at Dorough Kennels!! There's nothing like puppy love.

UPDATE!!!
Our beautiful rescue has found her new forever family. Thank you Andy and family for giving her a new home.
ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!

Below are pictures of the female Siberian we rescued last year. She is approximately 3 years old. She is trained to ride in a car, house broken, leash trained and trained to stay in the yard or a house. We believe she has been fixed as she hasn't had a heat in the year we've had her. Sure is a very sweet girl. She gets along with adults, children and male dogs. She wants to be an alpha female so she doesn't do well with other alpha females. She gets along great with or 3 submissive females but not our alpha female. We rescued her last year after she got lost from her human family. After looking for her family for 10 months we've decided they aren't looking or they moved away. She is a black/white Siberian about 45 pounds(which is as big as she will get) with beautiful blue eyes. We are asking for a $200 rehoming fee to cover some of our cost and to assure she goes to a good home. Say hello to our newest member here at Dorough Kennels. Meet Artemis "Goddess of the Hunt " Dorough. She is a beautiful Green eyed girl that is a wooley coat. She has eyes unlike any Sibe I've ever seen. I really hope they stay that color. She is the sweetest lil girl. We can't wait to see how she grows up and fits into our pack. She has really taken up with Bill. It's awesome to seeing him playing with her. Now if he can just get her to walk on a leash.

Lil Artemis went with me today while I visited with my grandson, Lucas and my grandpuppy, Mia. Artie and Mia had so much fun playing together. Artie is one of the sweetest fur babies we've had. It's going to be hard to let her go to her new home.

So far the puppies are still hanging out inside mom. They are due any day now. I'll keep everyone updated as soon as there's a change.
