WHAT A GREAT DAY ♥︎

We couldn’t have asked for a better day! The weather was perfect and we had such an amazing turnout! Thank you to everyone who came to this faith based day at the farm! And a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped out, we couldn’t have done it without you!
We hope everyone had the best time learning about horses and the Lord!

Hey guys! For the Fall Faith Horse Camp tomorrow it would be AMAZING if yall could bring lawn chairs for you and your family to sit on throughout the day to ensure everyone gets a seat! We can’t wait to see you all!

Tilly wants to remind our Cowgirls and Cowboys about our Fun Faith Day on November 2nd. Please arrive at 10:30 for check in and wear your farm clothes because you'll be painting and get dirty and also wear your closed toed boots or shoes. She is so excited you are coming and you have a week to practice your pucker❤️

Q: Is there a fee to come?
A: There is NO fee to come this day!

Q: Do parents stay or leave?
A: We strongly urge a parent or guardian to be on the farm while their camper is there!

Q: Are horses provided?
A: Yes! We have several amazing horses at the farm that will be available to your camper at the camp for the activities we have planned! 🐎

Q: When is registration due?

All days are good days at Sweet Gum Stables! Even when life gets hectic and busy, our stables are always here to cheer us up! 😁 This week, we had a great riding lesson and really worked on body position and good posture. Without good body position, you and your horse can’t balance properly, and you can’t deliver your signals correctly. It’s one of those things you need to master before you can really advance in your riding.🐎

Then, we found the PERFECT spot for these amazing metal posters that have so much great information! Thank you, Quinna and Courtney Yarbrough for letting us use these and allowing all of our other students to use them as visual aids in their learning!❤️

To wrap it all up, we took the tractor out back and started hogging! 🚜The grass needs a haircut every once in a while too! 😂

Say hi to our favorite Baby Doll!🍯

Baby Doll is our right-hand gal! This lovely girl is a 14-year-old former barrel and speed horse who has since been retired to assist children in every aspect of horsemanship. She is the most gentle, kind-hearted horse and is very aware of a child's level of ability and skill. She always takes care of our kids here at Sweet Gum Stables, and we couldn’t have our riding program here without her! 💕
Come see us and Baby Doll for riding/ horsemanship lessons, or even barrel/ pole bending lessons as she is also being legged back up to start her barrel racing days again! ⭐️

Such a good day at Sweet Gum Stables🤍 We had a great lesson with Quinna today focusing on hand placement and forward motion! Quinna was also so sweet to give Mrs.Patti the cutest cup for her birthday! Then we got Tilly saddled and did some training with her. After that we finished up the day brush hogging the pastures!☀️🌻
