A couple details for the rest of the month:

•There will be no daycare on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day + New Years Eve and New Years Day. Holiday hours are limited and boarding space is sparse in Orange City between December 20 - January 1. Sioux Center has availability! 🎄
•NOW is the time to cancel or adjust holiday reservations... and not the day before! 😊
•We have Wet-Nose Rescue Christmas treats available at both locations. Bring cash or check and make a donation to Wet-Nose Rescue in Le Mars!!
•Our holiday sweater party will be this Wednesday at both locations. Sign your pup up for daycare soon! It's sweater weather and we've already seen a few friends practicing already! 🎅
•Open Swim will be at 3:30pm TODAY in SC. This is the last one of the year and will be more sporadic in the new year due to private rentals!
•DOG GRANDPARENTS: don't forget about gifts for your grandpups this year! Daycare passes, pool/splash pad passes or gift certificates are perfect for your favorite pups. We can take payment over the phone and add credit straight to customer portals. The look of satisfaction on Nala, the golden, is because her grandma bought her pool passes and paid for some future boarding stays!! 🥰
•The rest of the dogs pictured were caught eating snow this week 🥶

We've heard dog parents call daycare a lot of different things (school, camp, doggy hotel). But according to Jovie and Poppy's dad, daycare is actually the country club! And we're digging country club!!

SIOUX CENTER friends, we need help!! Does any know this guy? He was waiting outside our front door, and naturally we let him in. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Very friendly male Springerdoodle!! We know A LOT of dogs but not this fella. No collar/tags and if you dont hurry - we will name him soon. 🤭

Puppy pictures coming soon but in the meantime enjoy a few of the people who are loving on your dogs this week. I appreciate my team every day but in a world where no one wants to work holidays and weekends, I'm extra thankful for these guys who always show up!

📢📢Pool Announcements!!

🔹️We're excited to announce that starting in October we will be offering Hydrotherapy services at our Sioux Center location. Our Pool/Swim Supervisor, Ryan Van Otterloo, recently completed a Canine Hydrotherapy certification at the School of Pet Aquatics in Brookfield, Wisconsin and is now providing services at our indoor pool.

Hydrotherapy is beneficial for dogs who need therapeutic care due to surgery, injury, arthritis, obesity, lack of mobility, aging, inflammation, chronic pain or most orthopedic conditions. It helps improve mobility, strength, balance and coordination and can also be used to help dogs maintain their overall health and fitness.

🔹️We will also be hosting open swims on Saturdays from 10am to 12pm and Mondays from 6:30-8:30pm. Open swimming is for social dogs only. Dogs are under owner supervision. You can come and go as you please. We do take reservations for Open Swim, but anyone is welcome! Owners must have an online profile, agreement signed and provide proof of up-to-date vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper & Bordetella).

‼️A few DD life updates:

-We said see you later to Kovi & Fable, a few OC daycare faves. I hope South Dakota loves the boys as much as we do. 🫶

-A warm September means more time on the splash pad! 🌴

-We've been giving a little extra love to a few long-term boarders. Maggie has been staying with us the last 26 days and Boots & Corky are going on 25 days. 💕

-4 dogs in one household is not too many.🐶🐶🐶🐶

-No grasshopper or cricket is safe inside our fence.🦗

-Ivy is wet.💦

It's fall + football season which means we usually see some friendly competition among the dogs. 🤭This weekend we had Murphy cheering on the Vikings, Captain & Morgan for Kansas City and Joby for the Bengals!
