Letโ€™s talk lumps & bumps! When we perform our physical exams, one of the things we look for are new or changing lumps on your dog or cat. A way to get a better answer or idea of what the lump may be, is collecting those cells in a way using a fine needle aspirate. Fine needle aspirateโ€™s or โ€œFNAโ€™sโ€ are commonly used in veterinary medicine. We collect those cells sterilely, spread them on a microscope slide, stain in special stain and examine! Itโ€™s always important to get any new or changing lump looked at by your veterinarian. ๐Ÿ”ฌ๐Ÿพ

โœ… Increased Reunification: Microchipped pets are significantly more likely to be reunited with their owners if lost.
