Meet our spunky and adventurous boy Zippy! This adorable 1-year-old male Terrier/Chihuahua mix is ready to steal your heart! Weighing just 11 pounds, Zippy may be small, but he’s full of love and charm. He’s a quick learner, great on a leash, and always eager to please AND his underbite is adorable!. Zippy is the life of the party! He is outgoing and loves making friends with kids and other dogs! Whether it's exploring the outdoors or cuddling up indoors, he is always up for fun! He loves romping and playing and then settles calmly. His perfect forever home will be with an active individual or family who has plenty of time to spend with him. He will do just fine as an only pup or with another well-adjusted fur sibling, he has not been exposed to cats. Zippy is up to date on his vaccinations and has been neutered, dewormed and microchipped. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! [email protected] Help prep the Park. Clear all the balls, bowls, chairs, and toys off the grass, fill the bag holders, and scoop. One volunteer can do it in about an hour. A group can knock it out in 30 mins or less. Please help. Tuesdays 1 hour before dusk or Wed 6ish AM (it' s when I do it)

Everyone welcome Freddy Fender to the rescue. Freddy is a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix that was surrendered to us by his owner. We are still getting to know him but we do know that he is a little shy at first but seems to be warming up nicely. He gets along with other small dogs (we haven't introduced him to large dogs yet). He is just a sweet boy. His current favorite pastime is snuggling under the blankets. He will be ready for adoption soon.

My name is Kirby-Carlos and I am a very handsome 9 lb purebred Shih Tzu, approximately eight years old. I was adopted from a shelter in 2023, but my owners had to give me up because they are moving and can’t take me with them. That’s OK, because my foster mom and dad love me and I am safe and loved, but I would love to find a forever home.

I am shy, but very loyal and like to follow my owner around the house. I love to sleep in bed with my special person and promise to be the best cuddler. I sleep through the night and I rarely bark.

During the day I like to hang out in one of my dog beds. I would do best in a single story and quiet home. Older kids are fine.

I am potty trained, but occasionally have accidents. I am neutered and UTD on all vaccines. I recently had a dental and a grooming. I would love for you to meet me in person so you can see how handsome I am!

Come and say hello to Ron from Santiago Creek Alliance. He is a volunteer who advocates for the safety and cleanliness of our creeks. Ron will have a table up by the walkway behind the large dog side all week.

Wednesday morning our Parks team discovered that vandals had broken into the electrical/irrigation box and flooded the field at El Camino Park, where Chapman Softball was scheduled to play an out-of-state team later that afternoon. 🥎

With the help of some sunshine ☀️ and a little elbow grease 💪🏼 , our awesome Parks crew jumped into action and got the field into playable condition! 👏🏼😎
