Treats and food of any kind have always been prohibited inside the Orange Dog Park. This is not a new rule. It is basic dog park etiquette.

As trainer Jas Leverette recently put it:

"You don't know if that dog has a chicken allergy or this allergy or that allergy. It just comes down to being considerate."

Some dogs have allergies.
Some dogs are on medication.
Some dogs are on veterinary diets.
Some dogs are in training. Some have food issues.
Some owners simply do not want strangers feeding their animals.

If you choose to bring treats into the Park anyway, please be respectful of other people's animals and always ask permission before offering anything to a dog that is not yours.

The goal is simple:

A safe, enjoyable experience for every dog and every owner.

WHERE MY PUPPLES AT?!?!

This Saturday, June 6th at 4:00 PM, PawRadar's founder and team will be visiting Yorba Dog Park to capture photos and video for upcoming launches, promotions, and future features.

We're looking to showcase what makes this park special:

Dogs being dogs.
People finding their people.
The occasional chaos goblin chasing squirrels with unreasonable confidence.

If you've got some time, swing by.

Let's show them what a real dog community looks like.

Bring your pup.
Bring your friends.
Bring your Pupple.

And if your dog thinks they're the main character, Saturday might be their big break.

It’s not every company, but you know exactly the ones we’re talking about.

They walk in with 3 dogs each, then one handler heads back to the vehicle to bring in 3 or 4 more. Meanwhile, there are a few 10-15 pound dogs mixed into a crowded large-breed off-leash environment.

That is not what the Park is for.

Orange Dog Park has a strict 3:1 dog-to-person ratio for a reason: Safety. Control. Accountability.

To the companies: The Park exists for the public first, not as an overflow workspace for commercial dog-walking operations.

This is a shared public space, not a bulk dog-walking route.

Please respect the rules and the people who use the Park responsibly.

If anyone has any information, please let us know. We will contact the owner.

We love all dogs. Big, small, and the ones convinced they’re lap dogs at 60 lbs.

Quick reminder: the Small Dog Park is for dogs 25 lbs & under only. Likewise, very small dogs should not be brought into the large dog area.

Recently, we’ve seen an increase in dogs being brought into the wrong side of the park, including large dogs in the small dog area and very small dogs in the large dog area.

Even friendly dogs can unintentionally create safety issues when there is a major size mismatch, especially during running and fetch play.

The posted Park Rules are not suggestions. They exist to help keep the park safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Please use the appropriate side of the park based on your dog’s size and play style.

We appreciate everyone helping us keep the Orange Dog Park a great experience for all guests. 🐾

WHEN IS A DOG PARK MORE THAN A DOG PARK?

• When roughly a quarter-million vehicles move through the surrounding corridor every day

• When it sits within more than 5½ additional acres of connected park space

• When peak-time parking exceeds 200 vehicles

• When it passively drives more than $1 million into the local economy annually

• When it sits within a one-hour drive radius of more than 7.7 million people

• When it becomes a regional destination—not just a neighborhood amenity

We’ve all had that moment…

Dog doesn’t wait.
You’re outside the gate.
No bag in sight.

So we fixed it.

Thanks to Ugly Dog Adventures, we just installed the first ever p**p bag dispenser and p**p-only trash can OUTSIDE the gate at the Orange Dog Park.

No more panic.
No more running inside.
No more “I forgot a bag.”

Right where you need it.
