Dahlia and I used an electric cart to shop for the first time yesterday. To my surprise, she had no issues with the cart and it was like she had already been trained with it. I love when you introduce a new concept or situation to a pup and there like, it's ok dad, I got this, no training nessisarely.

I am a LIMA (Least intrusive minimally aversive) based trainer. I primarily use positive reinforcement and redirection techniques. I do not use or support the use of e-collors, prong collors, choke chains, or slip leads. I have a strong background working with rescue pups, bully dreads, and guardian breeds. I focus on building a healthy relationship of trust and proper communication between you and your pup. you and your pups wellbeing are my top priority. Dog Training is my passion, but helping people is what I live for. I do Training for mental rehab of shelter dogs, basic obediance and puppy training to more advanced obediance, public asses and some service dog training. If you would like to know about Setvice Dogs, ESA dogs, or Theropy Dogs and the laws surrounding them, I will do a ADA Working dog knowledge session for $15hr.

This is not a Dog Training session, it is a session to educate about the differences, laws, and aspects of the ADA and my personal experiences living with service dogs and invisible disabilities. This can be very helpful in determining if a Service Dog or ESA dog is a good fit for you.

Pros and Cons of my pups.
The tasks listed below are not all
Of the tasks I train MY dogs to proforn, but it is the tasks that help me the most.
My pups are trained to work off leash do to the leash interrupting the ability of my pups to proform certain tasks and for my safety do to mobility issues.

Mr.Mason - 7y old veteran Pit Bull

Suited more for Phyciatric+medical allert

2-3hrs in public
Can work of-leash
Has some social anxiety
Does not like people petting him or interacting with him.
Has amazing focus.

Phyciatric Tasks:

1. DPT - excellent
2. Blocking - excellent
3. Grounding - excellent
4. Allert to someone behind me - excellent.

Medical Allert Tasks:

1. Dizziness - excellent
15min prior.
2. Anxiety/stress - excellent
3. Panick Attack - excellent 15min prior
4.something not right - excellent

Mobility:

1. Pick up item - no/won't
2. Counterbalance - excellent
3. Pull up hill - good
4. Massage hips - Not trained
5. Bracing - excellent, but I can't put as much wt. (70 lbs, 1/3rd of my wt.) as I would like on him do to his size and he is a little short.

Dahlia Jade - 7m old amateur Cane Corso

Suited more for heavy mobility.

8+ hours in public
Can last the work day
Can't work off leash yet.
Too social. Wants to meat and greet everyone.
Gets distracted easily.

Phyciatric Tasks:

1. DPT - excellent
2. Blocking - not trained yet.
3. Grounding - excellent
4. Alerting to someone behind me - good/ needs work

Medical allert Tasks:

1. Dizziness - good 5min prior
2. Anxiety - good
3. Panic Attack - N/A
4. Something not Right - good

Mobility Tasks:

1. Pick up Items - good
2. Counterbalance - Excellent
3. Pull up hill - not trained yet
4 . Massage hips - excellent
5. Bracing- excellent, but not done growing yet. She will be at least 110 lbs which is at least 1/2 my wt. She us 80lbs now and do to her still growing I do not put much wt. on her yet.

I went to eat and shop with both my pups. I am so proud of Dahlia, she did such a good job. She was focused and didn't try to play with Mr. Mason one time. They look so good working together.

Today is National Pitbull awareness day. This is Mr. Mason. He had been a Godsend to me scence 2016. We kinda saved and rescued each other. He is now a half retired service dog.
