Southern California Bulldog Rescue

Southern California Bulldog Rescue English Bulldog Rescue in Southern California www.socalbulldogrescue.org We are an English Bulldog Rescue in Southern California.

Please note that we require applications, homechecks and an adoption fee prior to all adoptions. We only place dogs in Southern California - we do not ship dogs outside of our area, please do not ask. We offer new beginnings for English Bulldogs that are homeless, abandoned or surrendered. Some come from cruelty; some from ambivalence. Some Bulldogs come to us simply because an owner is elderly or

sick and can no longer care for a much-loved pet, or there has been a divorce, job loss or illness in the family. Join other families and make a pledge to assure we have the ability to help these bulldogs needing out help. You and other families making a donation of as little or even more each month helps rescue to plan for the unforeseen medical needs and vet care for these senior bulldogs. http://www.socalbulldogrescue.org/help-us/pledge-with-us/

Help 'tip the scales in favor of rescue' in 2025.

Rescue is a ‘constant balancing act’ of rescuing bulldogs that need care and raising funds to cover expenses.
There isn't a single Bulldog that comes into rescue where the rescue doesn't need to prepare to cover the costs, starting from sometimes paying shelter fees to rescue the Bulldog and ending with the last bowl of food. Everything in between, from vet care, surgeries, medications, baths, and shelter in kennels with no foster homes, beds, harnesses, and food, are expenses to be covered. Even with counting donations of some supplies, a budget always needs to be balanced.

Join our monthly pledge program for as little as $5 a month for a year, which is the cost of a bag of food for a Bulldog. Pledge more and do more to help balance the scales to bring more care for more Bulldogs.

While supplies last, you receive a commemorative gift from So Cal Bulldog Rescue. The coin with a keychain celebrates So Cal Bulldog Rescue’s 20th year of rescuing Bulldogs.

Help rescue from some of the extra burden it takes for fundraising and let rescue focus more on the next Bulldogs in rescue needing care.

• New sign-ups will be contacted by mail. https://socalbulldogrescue.org/how-to-help/monthly-pledge

• If you are already a pledge supporter, contact [email protected] to request your commemorative coin.

Everyone likes a little Candy during the holidays! And our Candy is very likable! She adores people after she gets a chance to warm up, but is just as happy to be an only dog sitting next to you on the deck and watching the world go bye-bye. She's not a very big girl and has nice long legs, she would do well in a home with stairs or steps having little problem having to go on walks and would rather enjoy the walks.

Candy is young and need some training. She's been around other dogs, and while not interested in being friends with everyone - she does get along with other dogs. We feel she should meet other dogs to see if a good match if other dogs are in the home.

Mocha is Safe and Saved with So Cal Bulldog Rescue ( SEAACA 25-06055)
Mocha is just about 3 years old, a tiny little girl that has been sitting in the shelter since December 15th as a lost stray waiting for her owners to claim her back. Her micro-chip registered to owners that when contacted, did not come to claim her back.

While waiting she got sick and now has a URI that could of been avoided has her owners 'surrendered' her for adoption by the shelter or to a rescue. Being so sick now, she wasn't wanted by adoption by the public and faced being euthanized as her owners and then possible adopters ignored her.

Mocha's New Year is going to be a lot better now and at least she's had a chance for one.

There are many other dogs in the shelter 'that will not have a New Year' to look forward too.
