We would like to Thank and Orange for always coming to our rescue during our disaster relief efforts.
Emergency supplies during tragedies like the California wildfires are the top concern for those of us trying to help. Home Depot has come through for us time after time. They understand the urgency and are ALWAYS there ready to help the victims of disasters.

If there is ever a business to support it is this one. They donate millions to each disaster. They are nearly first at the scene for help with emergency and rebuild but you rarely see them covered in all the media and news. That’s because they are genuinely focused on helping victims of disasters.

We are catching our breath to catch up on some much needed “Thank Yous” to all the incredible people and companies that have donated to help the displaced animals from the Palisades and Eaton Fires.

Thank you Eric and the team at Alcon Lake Forest for putting together a donation drive and collecting needed items! So many items that are needed while we supply the teams of trappers and feeders still working in the burn zones to reunite lost pets.
We appreciate you reaching out and getting together to help!

Katie and her pops jumped in to transport all the donations so we can sort and transport back out to where it is needed most.

The needs for LA fires changes rapidly and as we are putting together hundreds of feeding stations for the boots on the ground we are asking for your help!
Our newest immediate need are water storage cubes 2.6 gal.
These are vital in getting water to the feeding stations that are being checked daily.

Tree roots and stumps can smolder for along time. Trees that have been burned can have branches that fall.

Treat the ash, debris, etc as toxic. Do not touch unless you have gloves on. They can be kitchen gloves - something to create a barrier with your skin.

Treat all power lines as active - do not drive over them, do not walk on them, etc. Report them to a local authority.

Breathe. Pace. When we rush, we get hurt. This will not be easy.

Thank you to the incredible Search and Rescue teams coming in to work the LA Fires.

With help from INABA Premium Cat & Dog Treats we were able to provide a case of treats for each of eleven heroic K9s this morning before starting their tedious searches. We also included some portable water bowls and booties.
Oh…and our amazing Debbie and Digna thought they needed big stuffy purple ducks too! Apparently, they were right.

This will help assist the boots on the ground looking for missing pets.

Please remember when you are looking for your pet in the “found” section that photos can be misleading. Pets coming out of a fire zone can be covered with ash- masking their true colors and markings. Pets will be injured as well and it might make them difficult to recognize.

If you have lost your pet- do not give up. There will be thousands displaced and it will take time finding them.

For all you avid keyboard warriors wanting something to do- you can go through the data bases of lost and found and try to match up pets. Many are reunited this way.

Thank you all for your out-pour of offers to help and donate.

Our focus is on helping the many small Animal Rescues who are flooded with animals they are pulling from the shelters and even more that will pour in from search and rescue from the burn areas.

This effort is just beginning. Our rescue groups are not funded and receive little in donations so helping them with supplies eases some of their burdens and allows them to save more animals.

Right now we are bracing for what is coming and will be on-going for at least a year with the rescue community.

Our biggest needs this week are:
Potty Pads
Slip leads
Stainless bowls
Zip ties
Trash Bags
Large foil Roasting Pans
Thin blankets

This list will continually change as the relief efforts shift.
We have also posted QR Codes and info to our affiliates who’s products we use regularly and are perfect for our disaster relief efforts.

Through our efforts, these dedicated organizations can be alleviated of fundraising burdens thus allowing imperative time to better assist abandoned and abused animals they rescue and care for. Together, one paw at a time, we can work towards ultimately ending euthanasia.
