Whitney is a gorgeous mix and we aren't sure how this extremely affectionate girl has not been adopted!
She came to us as a Mum with kittens and she was the best Mum to them. The kittens have all been adopted.
Whitney is hoping to find a home that wants a affectionate lap cat!

Look at this amazing girl.
This is the fun and goofy side of Wren you get to meet once she is comfortable and trusts you.
The key to a dog like Wren is a slow and easy approach. Nothing can be rushed.
She loves other dogs and had a play date with our shy Lindie later. They became instant friends.
Wren will need a doggy friend in her forever home it is a must for her and what she needs!

We would like to start the day sharing our AMAZING little boy Adam!!!
Adam is a very adorable 14 week old kitten that came to us many weeks ago along with 11 of his "siblings". They came from a home where there were a lot of unhealthy cats and kittens. Adam and several of his siblings went into foster to be closely monitored. Once arriving in foster his foster mama noticed he was a little wobbly, and it turns out he was diagnosed with cerebellar hypoplasia. This condition does not affect his quality of life, it just makes him a little unsteady on his feet. This does not slow him down, nor does it affect him in any way, shape or form!

Cold rainy day, nice and warm in here🐾❤️
As 2023 comes to a close, please consider making an end-of-year gift to our Deck the Paws Fundraiser at www.orangecountyva.gov/deckthepaws.
Thanks to your generosity, we raised enough to fill stockings for all of our pets, exceeded our original goal of 1,000 lbs of donated dog and cat food (then exceeded our new goal of 2,000 lbs!), and made a difference in the lives of many animals.
Deck the Paws may end on New Year's Eve, but end-of-year gifts help 2024 get off on the right paw, and donations above those needed to fill stockings will support critical needs like our emergency veterinary fund. Thank you again!
Thanks to your generosity, we've ALREADY exceeded the dog and cat food collection goal of 1,000 pounds for our Deck the Paws Fundraiser! To help feed the animals in our care throughout the year, we've set a new goal of 2,000 pounds! Learn more about ways to support the Animal Shelter at www.orangecountyva.gov/deckthepaws!
The hardest part of taking videos and photos is the dogs all want to kiss the camera... leading to hazy images and your phone always yelling at you to clean the lense.
Rico tried hard to clean the lense then gave up and just wanted to give kisses and cuddles.
This boy needs out of the shelter into a Foster or Adopter home.
He is shy at first and then just wants to be with you. He is what we would call a velcro dog once he gets situated with his persons he just want to be with them.
He will not be a a run into your arms kind of dog his meet and greet will be slow until he feels comfortable.
He is picky with dogs that have his same anxiety/energy level so meet and greets are a must.
We are looking for a adult only home for Rico as he was a stray and due to his insecurity issue we do not know how he would do with kids.
