🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

Today, we’re honoring the courage and dedication of our veterans who have selflessly served our country. Our shelter pup, Comet, was excited to "help" with the changing of our flag here at the shelter, proudly standing by as we raised it in honor of those who have served.

Comet might not know the full significance, but he’s ready to give his love and loyalty to a forever family just as our veterans have given so much to us. Comet is currently available for adoption and would make a devoted companion to anyone ready to welcome this sweet spirit into their lives.

🚨 Emergency Help Needed for a Newborn Kitten! 🚨

We have just taken in a tiny, helpless kitten who requires bottle feeding every few hours and a warm, safe space to thrive. This little one is far too young to eat on their own, so we’re urgently seeking help from our amazing community!

We are in need of:

Kitten Supplies: Kitten formula (KMR), bottles, heating pads, and other essentials to support this baby’s needs

Experienced Foster Caregivers: If you have experience with bottle-feeding kittens and are able to assist with this critical care, we’d love to hear from you!

We are thrilled to share that Flora is already doing AMAZING, and it’s all thanks to the incredible support from everyone who donated to and shopped at our recent yard sale! 🧡 Every purchase and donation has directly contributed to her recovery, and she’s showing us more and more of her sweet, resilient personality every day. 🐾💖

Do You Know Me?

This sweet dog was found and is now safe at our shelter, likely spooked by recent fireworks in the area. We're hoping to reunite them with their family. Sadly, they aren't microchipped, so we're relying on the community to help spread the word.

If you recognize this dog, please reach out! The owner must be able to prove ownership and know the dog’s gender.

Please note: The shelter is closed today, but we’ll be open tomorrow from 10 AM to 4 PM. Let's get this pup home! 🐾

Love our sister-rescue ❤️ It is about the animals.

I share posts from other legit and good rescues who need help. I share posts of urgent dogs who are about to lose their lives. Of course I want the dogs here to get adopted. Of course I need donations too. I share because it's about saving animals and not padding egos. It isn't a contest, it's a mission, a mission to save lives. We are all in this TOGETHER.

🎃🚗 Trunk or Treat Fun in Orangeburg! 🚗🎃

We had an absolute blast at the City of Orangeburg’s Trunk or Treat event! From the creative costumes to the festive trunks, it was a fantastic evening filled with treats, smiles, and lots of wagging tails! 🐾✨ Our team loved connecting with our community and seeing so many familiar faces (and some new ones, too!).

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and to the City of Orangeburg for hosting such a wonderful event. We’re already looking forward to next year’s spooky fun! 🧡👻

We’re thrilled to share an update on one of our precious alumni—a sweet little puppy who was adopted all the way back in 2020! 🐾💕

She may have been tiny when she left us, but she's grown into a beautiful, happy girl with a loving forever family. Hearing updates like these fills our hearts with joy and reminds us of the wonderful lives our shelter animals go on to lead.
