And Dodger patiently waits his turn at a chance for a happy life. Here he waits for the orthopedic surgeon to examine him and determine next steps for his injury.
You see, this beautiful boy was abandoned with 9 other pups without food, water or shelter. He must have been searching for food when tragically he was shot in the hind leg. The gunshot fractured his tibia and fibula.
But luckily Dodger was brought to the shelter where kind people cared enough to make sure he gets the best care possible.
Can you help Dodger with his surgery? The orthopedist wants to operate as soon as possible. Estimate $3600-4000

Dodger has gone to the vet and been examined. He did very well and we hope that he will be able to find a rescue soon. π
This beautiful daddy dog had been reportedly shot in the hind leg a few weeks before being brought to the shelter. He is currently in the puppy room housed with his puppies as there is no other to place to put him. Please. π
We need help to raise funds to help cover his medical bills at the vet for an X-ray? There are no vets available this week so we are working to get him to a vet soon.
We also need a Rescue for this gorgeous dog friendly boy. He needs someone that can help him open up and become the lovely boy he is meant to be.

Brandy Needs Our Help
It is a sad day when a sweet girl such as Brandy has to leave us. We want to save as many as we can but it doesn't always work out like we hope. This sweet girl had to be humanely put down this morning because the vet found that she had bleeding in her lungs that had progressed from the initial vet visit and because of her overall condition, she would not survive any massive surgeries which is what would need to be done at this point. We are not going to put her through anymore trauma especially when she is declining so fast. Please send sweet prayers Brandy's way π π
This older girl was hit by a car several days ago. Brandy went to the vet and she has a dislocated hip. She is also heartworm positive. Brandy desperately needs to get out of the shelter and into a warm safe, quiet environment. She is not eating on her own in the shelter and we cannot give her medication without proper food on her stomach. She is just as sweet as the day is long. Is there any Rescue or Foster who might could open their home to Brandy?

Sweet Brandy needs at least $1,100 to help cover her recent vet bills and the surgery that she will need to have to help save her life. We've raised $70 so far but we still need at least $1030 more. π π π

Maximus needs everyone's help to cover his emergency vet visit π π
He is estimated to be around 1 year old and weighs only 14 lbs. He is very sweet and gentle with everyone who he meets but he is definitely in need of some help.
Maximus is at the vet currently for an emergency visit due to the severe condition of his injuries. He has an open wound that is very deep, deep enough to go through and through. We were surprised that it hadn't gotten badly infected or started to rot.
It is suspected that his wounds is roughly 3-5 days old and caused by getting into another fight with a dog. He was running loose and we can only assume that he is a stray from the area where he was picked up unless an owner comes forward.
Is there any foster or rescue that can help this poor boy?? He needs help monitoring his wounds and making sure that he gets his medicine on a scheduled time. Please reach out if you can help Maximus.

Little sweet blind Waffles is in need of a foster ASAP!! π π π
Waffles, a ~8-10 week old tabby female kitten, was found hanging around the Waffle House screaming out for help. She seems to be possibly blind in one of her eyes but we do not know what caused it.
Is there anyone that can help foster this poor baby while we try to get it to a rescue?? Many places are overcrowded right now so we need help from fosters when we get furbabies that would do better in a calmer environment. He has been given antibiotics for the time being and is scheduled to go back to the vet in 2 weeks but he needs a rescue before then to help him get out of the shelter. Nero, a gray and white male Bully mix weighing 55.5 lbs, was brought into the shelter with some injuries and needs help covering his medical bills π π π We do not know his exact age because he is missing some teeth but he is estimated to be over 4 years old.
This poor boy was found hanging around an older lady's porch in Orangeburg and she was concerned because it looks like he had gotten into a fight with another animal. He had a torn ear and wounds on his body but we do not know what the exact cause was except possibly getting into a fight with another dog. We need help finding this poor boy a rescue and covering his medical bills for the time being. We are working to get him seen by a vet as quickly as we can but he will still need a rescue to help him get out of the shelter.
