Thank you to everyone who called or messaged today. I know I didn’t answer the phone. I just couldn’t today. Maybe tomorrow. Thank you for holding space for us in your day.

Trimble was very much a member of our family and he was to so many around the world.

You will maybe find it a bit humorous to know that I was having a bit of a mental breakdown in my car and the mail lady walked up. (I didn’t see her) and she scared the bejeezus out of me. She had a ton of packages many of you sent for Killian’s birthday but she found me crying in the car… I’m sure she thought I was a little crazy. Oh well… gotta keep her on her toes.

Anyway… hug your babies. Thanks for loving our little family as your own.

Happiest of birthdays to Killian Coach today!!

His third trip around the sun was just amazing as the first. He continues to grow and thrive! He learns so much more every day and continues to be a shining light in the world.

He inspires millions to smile and to remember that hard things are worth the pay off and diagnosis’s are just words and not sentences. Thrive is the name of the game. In the last year, he has caught up on most physical milestones and continues to improve speech and uses multiple languages.

He’s attune to this world in a way many aren’t and while some things are still difficult it only represents a future filled with new conquests and adventures.

Happy birthday to our sweet boy!

Today’s word is Thank You!! He kinda does it half way but he has had verbal thank you for a bit then it faded and recently came back a little different from the original. Also someone asked how is he nonverbal if he says words. He very rarely says a word that isn’t prompted. He echoes most words from us. Words that he says unprompted or intentionally are yeah, no, thank you (sometimes) and of course oh sh*t.
