Thank you all who’s been following my page and inquiring for this year’s persimmons. We are at the mercy of Mother Nature and this year we were hit with a double whammy (a second freeze and the scorching summer sun). What’s left are a small crop of the best of the best, super sweet persimmons with a right bite of crunch.

Grab them now, they’ll be gone soon.

$2/ lb for giant fuyu
$1.50/lb for small and medium fuyu. Message me for availability and pick up. See you all soon!

Have you gotten your persimmons yet?!?! Ziggy here can vouch these are the best sweetest fruits in the farm. Given a bucket of watermelons, honeydews, and persimmons, he chomps those persimmons down before considering all the others. See that smiling face of satisfaction!!!

A little peak into the summer produce. Everything is getting so bushy and vines are trailing everywhere. While most fruits and squashes are still green, the first harvest has been plentiful. We are starting to take orders and will post when they are ripening up.

Summer in the farm!

It has been two weeks since we visited the farm, and it’s completely unrecognizable! Tom and Judy has been busy planting seedlings for the summer crop, laying out rows of beans, tomatoes, squashes. The poppies are just in its own glory! Cherries started to ripen. A bed of potatoes from the previous year sprouted all on its own and doing better than the planted potato bed. Fruit trees are getting huge and weighing down the branches. The persimmon trees were trimmed two weeks ago, and the it came back with a vengeance. It’s headache if a farm isn’t doing well, but it’s a different kind of headache when it’s doing super well! Pruning these trees is like cutting the limbs off of your children in hopes they will do better, every cut is a hard decision heartache 💚💚💚

Spring is waking up the early blossoms. Our Asian pears, pluots, and apriums are blooming beautifully! Golden nuggets are available for pick up, please message for availability!

Weather warmed up a little bit, the ground clovers between the trees emerged; like a green carpet rolled out to invite the dawning of spring. This is the best time for tree pruning. We even had a few stalkers monitoring us work, neighbor’s baby alpacas and an emu. No complains here!

This little paradise seems all bare now in the winter, I can’t wait to see how it’ll all transform once spring comes.

The orchard has persimmons, eureka lemons, Meyer lemons, many varieties of pomegranates, mandarins, blueberries, oranges, figs, grapes, and asparagus.

Last year we grew an abundance of tomato varieties, pumpkins, Asian melons, watermelons, cantaloupes, Japanese squashes, beans, eggplants, potatoes, okra, bell peppers, and more.
