I love this! If all my lesson horses could talk this is what they’d say

I am a lesson horse.
I am a horse that isn’t as recognized as the top hunter jumpers, the best western pleasure horse, or the 1D barrel horse, I am a lesson horse. I am the backbone of the foundation to do all of those things. I am a lesson horse.

I am not loved by one person. I am loved by several people. I don’t have my person, I have my people. I am a lesson horse.

I will teach your child and yourself more than just to ride. I will bring your child out of their shell. I will teach your child about life. I will be yours and their shoulder to cry on. I am a lesson horse.

I will bring my family the joy of teaching kids. I will bring my families business growth. I am so loved by my family, even if they don’t express it everyday. My family allows others to show me love and enjoy me. I am a lesson horse.

At the end of your childs’ journey on a lesson horse, they will out grow me. They will find one that jumps higher, a horse that is show quality, a horse much faster than me. But, I will never outgrow being a lesson horse. I will be the one that loved your child and helped your child grow into the rider and person they are. I am a lesson horse.

At the end of my time as a lesson horse; I will be covered in grey hair. Each grey hair came from each hour I spent as a lesson horse. I will be in a field of green grass, I will be taken care of as I was when I was a lesson horse. I will watch your child from across the pasture love her new horse. But, I will love your child more than any horse can. I will be the backbone of the business, the family, and your child. Don’t forget about me, I am a lesson horse.

Looking for an Assistant Riding Instructor who can work part time, flexible hours teaching Beginner to Intermediate students on our lesson horses. Natural Aides training methods are taught. Also included would be working the Summer Camps and possible Girl Scout Badge Program. Horse experience a must. Must be good working with people and willing to increase and enhance your horse skills. On the job training is available. Dressage, Jumping and Flat Seat Style riding. Good transportation a must. Punctuality and a Friendly Personality necessary.

Enjoy SUMMER all year long!!
Summer is a Clydesdale Cross "PMU baby" Mare. She stands at 16.2 hands, will be turning 15 this summer. She is a very friendly horse, loves attention from kids through adult and has impeccable manners. She was used as an Intermediate Lesson horse and also ridden on the trails. She LOVES TRAILS and I feel this is where she will be the happiest. She's a great HUSBAND horse and is sound and gentle. She's a deal at $6500.
I am downsizing my business and several horses must go. She stands tied all day long, great for farrier and vet, and very kind. I want her to go to a loving home that will give her all the attention she deserves and she will give it back to you double. More pics available

Looking for an Assistant Riding Instructor Part Time, flexible hours including Saturdays. To teach Beginner to Advanced students on our lesson horses. This is a CAREER level position with ongoing education provided. Flat Seat/Jump Seat/Dressage Basics; Natural Aides training methods are taught. Riding Experience(any style) a MUST. Must be good working with kids and adults and be wanting to advance and enhance your horse skills. On the job training is available. Weekly riding lesson will be given to improve your riding skills. Hillside Training Stables is looking for a Riding Instructor to teach Beginner/Intermediate lessons in Orangevale. Must be an experienced rider, English/Dressage style preferred but not required, 18+ years, experience in working with children and adults. Available Part time or Full time. Continued advanced riding instruction for self included. Monday through Saturdays. Must be a team player and open to learning new riding skills. I am in need of an office assistant at my horse stables. Entry level position, must be familiar with computers and good with numbers. Data entry processing, some banking and billing, filing, preparing brochures, etc. Will train for all. 3 days per week/ 12-15 hours, Starting pay $12, increase with experience.
