Here are pictures of the potential charcoal male for a guardian home.

Again this is for a guardian home opportunity, free to you but would be contracted to be a stud for our program. That means he would have a date with some beautiful lab ladies a couple times a year and that’s pretty much the whole commitment for a male in our guardian home program.

Well sometimes life doesn’t go our way and tonight was one of those times. Hank was unable to perform his fatherly duties naturally and even after bringing him in they still were unable to collect enough viable s***m with enough swimmers to do an AI with Keva. So we had to bring in a backup, which was Hanks half brother Gunner the father of our last litter. So if this TCI takes we are expecting puppies on Dec 31st of yellows and champagnes again. These puppies will not be half English and half American like gunners last litter that just went home with Athena. These will be very chunky full English butterballs. We should know in about 30 days if the AI worked and will keep everyone posted. Thank goodness for my friend Karen or it would have been impossible for me to get these two big boys and Keva last min to the vet.

Hank update 😊

Well it’s been a long time since I have seen our Stud Muffin Hank the Tank. His last litter was with Elle back in December of last year. He wasn’t even two years old yet and was a lot smaller. If you have a puppy by Hank and you think your dog (especially male dog is done growing) think again. This guy is an absolute beast and has the most amazing temperment ever. I have never even heard him bark before and he is legit a gentle giant. He loves kids, loves all people, is so gentle for his big size, loves to swim, and loves the ladies 🤣

Here are some pictures I took of him today. Tomorrow we will be taking him and Keva in for a TCI. Which means we have a due date for Kevas litter. According to the calculator her due day will be New Year’s Day which means puppies would be estimated to go home 8 weeks later on February 26th.

Keva x Hank are expecting Silver, Charcoal, Black, and Chocolate puppies. I am now taking deposits for every color but charcoal. Once the puppies are born and if there are any charcoal males and any of the 4 deposits want to move to Keva’s litter I will go in order of deposit.

I am still expecting Reese to go into heat eventually. She is the hardest dog we have ever had to predict. Typically our labs go into heat twice a year or around every 6 months. Nothing about her heat cycle is regular. She didn’t even have her first heat until she was almost 18 months old. Now she’s over 2 and it’s been 7 months since her last heat and still nothing according to her guardian family. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I know there are lot of people waiting and excited for that litter. I promise you I’m just as anxious.

Athena and Gunners litter went to their forever families and I couldn’t be happier for these pups ❤️ I forgot to get pictures of two of the families but managed to get most of them. Have a wonderful life cute little babies 😊

Updates!

Good afternoon I have a bunch of updates and thought I would just compile them all into one post.

First of all everyone meet Keva!!!😍

She is our gorgeous dilute factored yellow girl who is currently in heat. If my math is mathing she is due to have puppies right around Christmas Day. This litter will be with Hank and they can have chocolate, black, silver, and charcoal colors per their genetics. Doesn’t mean all of those colors will be born but they could. We already have 1st pick female reserved as of today and I have 4 deposits on charcoal males for Reese’s all charcoal litter whenever she decides to go into heat. I will be using Hank the tank for both of these litters and both of these litters will be full
English coming from some very nice lines. I have complied a photo dump of all the pictures I have taken of Keva over the past couple days and she is just absolutely stunning!

If you are on Reese’s litter for a charcoal male and want to move your deposit to Keva for a charcoal male once they are born and I know how many we have you have that option. But for now I will take 3 more deposits on females and 3 more for males for Kevas litter. Still willing to accept 3 female deposits for Reese’s litter which at this point in time. First pick female is up for grabs. These are going to fill up quickly. I have a waiting list I need to reach out to those families first but am already in the process of that today. If you have been waiting for a full English these are those litters! Early next year we are going to have an American litter coming from Elle expecting all colors silver, charcoal, fox red, champagne, yellow, black, and chocolate. With our Silver half English/half American stud. This will be Ash first litter and Elle’s second litter. Puppies will be 75 percent American and this is the litter for everyone who has been waited for a hunting dog. If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out. 415-654-7859.

Gunner and Athena’s champagne/yellow litter are going home today and tomorrow to their new families and seeing the smiles and pure joy ok pickup day just never gets old. It’s my favorite part 🥰

Winnie (skinny silver girl) is now named Zero from the nightmare before Christmas. Since she doesn’t even know her name from how bad she was neglected. Her blood labs came back good, except for low protein and crude fat levels from being starved. She has already gained 10 pounds in under a week with us and the family who had her was completely abusing and neglecting both girls. They have stopped responding to messages and didn’t care one bit that we took the dogs back. These people are cruel and should be put in jail for what they did to these beautiful girls. I’m just so happy Zero has a new family and just left to go to her new home. ❤️

Dakota has her vet appointment Friday to make sure she’s healthy and all clear and then will be getting picked up by her new family on Saturday. So overall I’m very blessed I listened to my gut and drove up there to check on them, who knows how long they would have lived with no vaccines or medications (flea/tick/heartguard), food, or care in Nevada coming into winter with snow and freezing cold temperatures. I’m so grateful they are ok and will be getting the love they have always derserved.

Last post! Haha sorry

I just have to wish our beautiful baby girl Rue the happiest 3rd birthday. She is seriously the calmest, sweetest, biggest lover dog ever! She gave us two litters of beautiful puppies and has continued to be a second mom to all the litters since hers. She is amazing with kids, loves all people, dogs, babies, puppies you name it. She loves to swim, fetch, and her most favorite eat 🤣

Just wanted to share some pics I took of her after she devoured her birthday cookie ❤️

Update on the puppies we took back from Reno. Rues Silver daughter we took back with us Friday because she was very skinny and didn’t look healthy. After only 4 days with us she looks night and day better. These dogs were backyard dogs that were left outside all the time and don’t even know their names, let alone any commands or had any basic training. We got some weight on her over the last 4 days and she’s been loving getting all the love, snuggles, and attention. She loves our dogs, our kiddos, and being inside around people. She got to swim today and play some fetch and is just soaking up all the attention she was deprived of. I am posting what she looked like and the first meal I gave her when got back Friday in the comments. You can obviously see the different. Crazy how mean and cruel people can be to animals. My friend who lives in Reno has seccured the charcoal dog that was in their care and will be bringing her down here tomorrow. I think I have found wonderful homes for both girls and am so excited for them to get the homes they should have gotten the first time around.

Friends need some help,

We have a 10 month old charcoal female puppy who is apart of our guardian program who is living in Reno. After visiting her and her silver sister for the first time since they were puppies and went to live with their family. I had to make a hard decision and take them both back. The family was not honest with me about a lot of things and broke the guardian contract in so many ways. I think I have a possible home for the Silver girl (Rues daughter I kept back from her last litter) but am needing to find a perfect home for this charcoal girl Dakota. If you or anyone you know is looking for an older puppy, she is a pure breed AKC registered English lab. She would
be free to an approved home but would have a contract with us to have a couple litters once she is 2 years of ages and passes all health testing. Please message or call if interested and we can go over the details. Let’s find this beautiful girl the home she deserves.

5 week photo dump!!!

I just got back from Marin and for the most part updated everything that needed to be updated on my Website. It is still really hot so when I got home all the babies were inside in the AC. I put them outside to try and do a big photo shoot and it went great with some pups, others were like screw this and went back inside. You should at least see a few pictures of each puppy some will have a bunch because they were engaging and playing with me more. My phone started to overheat during my photo shoot and a lot of the pictures look a little grainy and I ended up having to turn my phone off and wait a while to even make this post. Not sure why that happened, had never happened before.

They are all on solid Kibble now, have mastered the dog door, exploring the play yard more and the crates inside. Mom has completely weened them where she is now snapping and growling at them. To much teeth and sharp claws Athena’s like I’m
Done. She’s avoiding them at all cost and now Rue has completely taken over to play and socialize. Athena was so happy to go back home today and did an amazing job.

We have the first 5 females picked by their families and have the boys families coming to pick tomorrow which is always exciting and my favorite part. 😊

We still have little yellow collar chestnut girl if anyone is looking. She is old enough now where if you know anyone that might be interested they can come by and at least meet her and see if she is a good fit.
