Chinchilla Amore We're a small pet & prize winning show quality breeder of chinchillas. Member of ECBC & MCBA We are Chinchillas Amore ! We handle our chin babies every day.

We are a small ranch located in Orangevale, California (right outside of Sacramento). We have many wonderful pets including our Chinchillas. This is my hobby with a focused on chinchilla care, education and to breed pedigreed show quality chinchillas that will make great pets! Our chins are use to all sorts of different noises of a busy family of 5 with several musicians, noisy teens, daily vacuu

ming and a yappy but happy Pomeranian. So our kits hear all this in utero and why we feel our chins don't seems to get stressed as easily like chins typically do. Making these exceptional pets. Our chins come from pedigreed bloodlines from only reputable breeders. I do take in rescues and surrenders. These are never to be bred and we spend a lot of time socializing and caring for them. I'm not a 501c. So all care and veterinary needs comes out of pocket. I love all chinchillas and feel all reputable breeders should give back to do their part for chinchillas in need. My family with help from several foster families rehabilitate and socialize many each year. We've been very successful placing most into good new homes typically within 6 months or less. Any with severe behavioral or health issues are always welcome to live their lives out at our home and be spoiled. Our oldest Chinchilla's Birthdate is March 23, 1994. It was an honor to attend the ECBC National Chinchilla Show in Utah this past weekend. Chinchilla Amore won 2nd place Mutation Breeder trophy, Color Class Champion Reserve in both Ebony and Beige, and many other ribbons. This was such a fun show! Taz, the mosiac, snuggled up with one of our oldest females named Wild Child. Their daughter was Betty White, who won Color Class Champion Reserve at 2024 ECBC Western Regional Show. Wild Child
is now a very laid-back lady in her double-digit age.

Louie is a rescue that came to us in horrible condition. He received vet care and is now healthy. He didn't trust humans after what he went through. Who could blame him if you saw the shape he was in. I have his cage marked that he bites. He occasionally nips out of fear if approached fast and by someone he hasn't established trust with. He needs to live by himself. He likes to start fights if with any cagemate.
He needs someone with a big heart and patience. Once he trusts you, his heart will belong to you forever!
Louie's adoption can include a cage and all the supplies he will need.

Jolt's son went to his forever home. He's now belings to a returning customer and a buddy to former Chinchilla Amore chinchilla. Jolt's offspring are always very social. His other girlfriend just had a kit this past week.
