In addition to those brave and waterproof souls who came to ride today i can't say enough about my help! Sintia who helped me set up and tear down obstacles and stayed late to keep me company working my own in the dark and Lisa who works with me in the barn weekly helping me keep my pens looking tidy. You guys are truly the very best!

I have had a few folks reach out lately wanting to audit the December 29th obstacle and cow play day. Lots of room for that just reach out in advance so I can get a rough count of how many folks might be coming to watch!

Planning three obstacles and cow days to keep us ridding all winter long!

Obstacle course in the morning with pattern similar to ranch horse type classes. Bridge, drage, pole work, gates from horseback. If you have a youngster or a pony but still want to participate in hand your more than welcome.

Afternoon will be introduction to cattle for horses that have never been around cows it's very beginner friendly. For folks with more cattle experience we can focus on working the cow more specifically.

Cost is $150 per participant
Haul ins welcome
Stalls and paddock can be made available for folks who wish to overnight. Fee is $35 per night.

Start time is 10:00

This mare is absolutely the sweetest and has been a barn favorite from day one! Lue has a wonderful personality and is kind to everyone. She came into my barn after a long layoff and stepped back into work with a great attitude.

Lue has three fantastic solid gaits and is an easy uncomplicated ride. Obedient in the arena or out. Hauls and settles into new locations very well.

Lou is sound and healthy and up to date on everything. Goes wonderful barefoot and is a straightforward easy keeper.

I will tape her tonight and update with exact hight but I guess her right about 16 hands. Please reach out with any questions or to schedule a time to meet her. She will remain in training until she sells. Located in Eastsound washington

As we wind down 2024 and I find myself looking forward to 2025 in a surely fruitless attempt to plan ahead.
