#ahreprince is available for adoption. He is blind in his left eye and not started under saddle. He will be a project partner for the right individual. He is 9 years old and had the same owner from@6 months of age before coming to us. He has potential and needs the right individual who will take their time in earning his trust and moving him forward in training. If the right match is found before the end of February, we will reduce his adoption fee. Please share to help the right individual find Prince. Adopter must be experienced and have knowledge of visually impaired horses. Adopter must also truly want to build a bond with Prince and a partnership that will last many many years. Gala Update: We are extremely thankful for another successful Gala. Preliminary numbers have us raising net around $25,000. We want to thank everyone who contributed to this successful fundraising event. Our fantastic volunteers who worked tirelessly to make it happen, individuals and businesses who donated items for our auctions, corporate sponsors, supporters who came to the event, the fantastic band, and the food cart vendors. #AHREBakari and #AHREGypsy each have someone come meet them yesterday. Gypsy of course needs to heal from her injury before an adoption can be finalized, however, we do expect her to make a full recovery and her wound is healing nicely. #AHRE Gypsy and #AHREBakari did great on the trail today. We just cannot believe why these two have not been adopted yet. We see horses for sale that are not proven trail mounts for way higher prices then these two’s adoption fee is. Look no HORSES’s is perfect. You could spend 5 figures on a horse and there is never any guarantees. These two horses have proven over and over again that they have the physical and mental capacity to be great trail mounts. Seriously, regardless of your age, if you are a confident, calm intermediate or better rider, you will have no problems with either one of these. They both have a few quirks, but who doesn’t. A quirky safe horse wins over a bland unsure horse any day. So who out there is serious about trail riding and wants a great partner? There is still time to get some nice trail rides in before winter.
