I know, I know… “but they’re crying! but they’re so cute! but they’re just a baby!” I’ve heard it all. But it comes down to this: Your puppy NEEDS to learn that you can be around while not attending to them and they can be okay with that. I truly belive the anxiety that comes with leaving a dog or all the negative traits we see in anxiety filled adult dogs as far as being alone are influenced by the first little bit of their life they didn’t learn this skill. Crate + pens are for your dogs safety. They will learn to love and be completely okay with it! But you need to leave them alone starting from day one of brining them home. Practice putting the pen in different rooms of the house you ARE in, and paying absolutely no mind to the puppy. When it settles, and it’s been restful. Reward by letting them out potty, giving a treat, and doing it again.
Babies are on the move! These little guys are really adventurous, and sooooo playful. The cutest stage in my opinion! 🩷

Cappuccino x Buddy puppies are a week old!
A week old, and we love them so much already. ❤️Cappuccino has blown me away with how well she’s caring for the babies. I haven’t done a thing except love on them!Everyday we do a little curriculum to expose the puppies so sound, and touch which has been shown to help their neurological development. These Wicked babies don’t mind at all! I have a feeling they’re going to be really docile babies
Our Dream x Buddy keeper puppy Charolette had her first leash experience tonight. She’s a tiny little baby but she can move! Charolette did very well on our little walk tonight, I love to see prancing.
