Just one week left to sign up for our photography fundraiser for Celestialzoo.org on July 13th! Don't miss your chance to get super cute pics of your furry friends. Photos sessions are $30. 30% of all proceeds will be donated directly to Celestial Zoo to help with the amazing work they do for animals across the state of Utah. Fundraiser will be held from 10am to 12pm. I am willing to stay a little later if anyone can't make it by 12pm. Meet me at Paul Ream Wilderness Park in Provo.

Animals available for adoption through any shelter or rescue may come and receive photos for just $10 (full proceeds going to Celestial Zoo)

A friend of mine won't be able to make it to my fundraiser so we got together yesterday for her photoshoot ($30 still going to Celestial Zoo Pet Rescue) I'm so happy with the way these turned out. What a cure trio.

A few friends and I went out to Utah Lake today. It was super windy but the dogs still had a good time. Made for some moody pictures which are my favorite 😂

We only had one pup come out for photos today but that's okay! One is better than none. Mr. Kobe is a training client that I have watched grow up since he is a puppy. It was great to also capture some great pictures of him! As mentioned in the main post $5 of the session went to Celestial Zoo. Next time I will plan for more notice so we can hopefully have a few more friends join us 😁😁

I did a bunch of cleaning yesterday and ended up deciding to clean out my backpack that was full of some pop tarts that broke open, some other random things and the contents of an iron supplement bottle that had spilled out inside. I dumped it all into my trash. I went back to cleaning and after a bit I went into my bedroom to change my sheets. I was in there maybe ten minutes or so. When I came out Nadia was licking something up off of the floor next to the trash and the seal of the cat litter bag on the floor. This was at 9:20pm. I didn't even think about the pills being in the trash. It didn't even cross my mind. I went about some more cleaning, took them potty, fed them dinner. I sat down to eat and no more than I sat down and got settled to start eating Nadia puked all over the floor. I was annoyed because I had just cleaned the entire room. When I began cleaning it up I noticed all the little white pills and my heart dropped. Had she really eaten iron pills from the trash? She has never done anything like this before.

I of course got on Google and google said not good things. I called med vet they said to call poison control. After a 12 min call I paid $85 and got ready to go to the vet. They took us back faster than I expected. The vet talked t poison control and of course they recommended X-rays, blood work, hospitalization. All these things I could not dream of affording. I had $600 even in my bank account. The vet was very sweet and talked to me about the options and risks of not doing the more complex things. They wanted to have blood work for a baseline but mentioned having sole from the month prior. I tried to bypass fluids but she really suggested against that. So we induc vomiting again, did fluids and anti nausea meds. She puked up nothing. We were sent home with several medications. I have to watch her closely for more severe tummy issues, jaundice, slow/fast heart rate, excessive bleeding, etc etc. And they highly recommended I do blood work today or tomorrow. I don't like to ask for help for myself and my animals. But I'm asking for help. The bill today with the poison control was was $575.

Week before last we did a paddle board day at Tibble Fork for a work thing. I sure as s**t wasn’t getting in the water by a co worker took Nadia out for me. She was certainly very bamboozled and whined as they got farther into the water, but she did better than I expected!

It was so hard to choose from but here are some of my favorites from the workshop we attended last weekend. So many amazing dogs and people. If you have the opportunity to work with Jay you absolutely should.
