Today is suppose to be 87 degrees and it's Shearing Day at DD Farms. A huge shout out to JReed at WeLoveSheep.com. They provide a full service for those that don't want to do it. Trimming, shearing, worming, etc. Very professional and knowledge-able.

Our little escape artist Edelweiss Goldilocks has left yesterday with her friend to her new home where they are very experienced with little Houdinis. It’s almost as if she is looking at me saying “I’ll make you proud and will find lots of new ways to escape in my new home”! 😂😂😂

The Wool on Wheels Express Bus is here!

Join us for a gorgeous day at the 2019 Lambtown festival, a celebration of sheep, fleece and yarn. Watch the sheep to shawl competition, see herding dog demonstrations, meet dozens of different breeds of sheep, and shop with over 50 local vendors.

Join us on Sunday, October 6th for a relaxing round-trip ride on a fancy bus (the kind with air conditioning and a restroom), knitting, crocheting, or spinning instead of driving!

Two pick-up locations: SF Glen Park BART Station (8:00am) and Oakland MacArthur BART Station (8:30am), with ample free parking.
Lots of storage space on the bus for all the fleece and yarn you’ll be bringing home, but sorry, no sheep allowed! We will leave Lambtown at 4:00pm, for a relaxing ride back to our pick-up locations.
The bus can accommodate folks who use stow-able mobility assist devices, such as folding wheel chairs and walkers.
$55 ticket includes:
- Round-trip transportation
- Entry in to Lambtown
- Limited edition tote bag full of goodies and surprises.
Tickets go on sale Monday September 9th at 10am and the link will be posted and stickied to the top of our page at that time. Mark your calendar and set an alarm, because space is extremely limited.
