UPDATE: Not one single inquiry for our sweet Dora…we realize black cats are the least likely to be adopted BUT there has to be the right human out there for Dora???

Stood up for her “meet and greet” with a potential adopter….twice. Now sweet Dora is beginning to lose hope 💔

After losing her human mom to health problems Dora found herself all alone, waiting for a new home. Dora is a black cat, she’s also 5 years old, and she’s not a kitten…sadly this makes it harder to get adopted.

We ask that you please share Dora’s story to help find a family for this sweet girl.

Sweet Dora has found herself in need of a new home due to no fault of her own.

What we know about this girl….

- 5 years old
- Gorgeous shiny black fur with the perfect white “pendant” and big beautiful green eyes 💕
- Spayed & up-to-date on vaccines
- Perfect weight 8.5 lbs
- No known health issues
- No known prior exposure to dogs or other cats
- Very sweet
- Shy until she is comfortable & has gained your trust

We would love to minimize the time Dora spends alone in a kennel if possible. She may do best in a quieter household with an experienced cat parent that can give her the time and attention she needs to adjust to new humans 🐾💕🐾

It’s only fitting that on National Feral Cat Day we are absolutely thrilled to announce …. our fiesty, gorgeous Vivian has found her humans!

Her new mom shared these great photos with us that show she has quickly made herself at home 🐾

Our team will miss this little girl and her quirky personality. We love you Vivian 💕❤️💕

10/11/2024 UPDATE - WE ARE OPEN!

HURRICANE CLOSURE…..Eddie & Vivian saw the latest predictions and recommended we close Wednesday and Thursday.

While they did not fully understand why a hurricane with 4 or even 5 CATs is a bad thing, neither of them liked the idea of water and believe it must have something to do with the amount of water…….

Friday’s opening plan is pending Milton’s path.

***UPDATE ALERT - EDDIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED❤️❤️❤️

Eddie Update….He is happy to let everyone know he is doing great! The swelling is minimal and he’s back to his normal awesome Eddie self!

He is currently “helping” pick ribbon and watching the making of more wooden cats for people wanting to contribute to his surgery costs! Need to order wooden cats? Let us know 😻

Eddie would also love to say thank you to all of the nice humans who have shared his post, checked on how he’s doing and trying to help him find the best family ❤️

EDDDDIIIIIIEEEEE 🐾❤️👀🥳🙀😻🐾

Update: Eddie got a fantastic report from his eye surgeon plus their whole team fell in love ❤️

Not only did his surgery go well, but they also reported “his motor works exceptionally well”…..he purred the entire time and won over everyone’s hearts due to his sweet, fun personality. As we said many times before….Eddie is THE best ❤️

Even better news….WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR EDDIE’S ADOPTION!!!

For anyone wishing to contribute to Eddie’s medical care below are a few options:

1. Give us a call to make a payment of any amount (even $1 helps) straight to Eddie’s account. Medical care includes all care provided for Eddie since he was brought in on May 3, 2024. This includes medications, food, neuter, vaccines, deworming, etc PLUS his eye surgery completed on 9/25/2024 at Veterinary Eye Institute.

2. Order any wooden cats or dogs….all funds go towards the pets we rescue and Eddie is one of many 🐾

Eddie wants everyone to know he is on his way to the Veterinary Eye Institute…

TODAY is the day.

The day this sweet boy begins his journey to save his vision.

Eddie is approximately 6 months old now and can have the surgery to correct his eyelid agenesis, a birth defect causing abnormal eyelid development. We took Eddie in without hesitation and promised this little guy we would get him the medical care he needed and hopefully a family to love him forever ❤️

We have had several who met Eddie ask how they can contribute to the cost of Eddie’s surgery…..we will continue to post updates and provide details on how you can help 🐾

UPDATE: VIVIAN HAS BEEN ADOPTED

Ok everyone…..it’s time to truly ask for help spreading the word…

Vivian needs a home. A family to call her own….soon. She has been with us for months and deserves to be out of a kennel and have a human that loves her.

This gorgeous girl came to us at only .72 pounds. She was found tangled up in vines, unable to free herself, with the vines wrapped around her neck and back leg. A nice human saved her and brought her to Copper Point to get the medical care needed and a chance to find a home.

Vivian is clearly beautiful, she’s playful, makes hilarious noises when playing, purrs loudly while being held, independent and has a touch of spiciness that keeps us all laughing.

Note.....Vivian has what we consider a "stereotypical cat" personality. Independent, lets you know when she is done being held, and not the sweet, cuddly, needy, lap cat 😻

But….we have gotten no inquiries for this girl so PLEASE SHARE and contact us if you’re ready to add a Vivian to your life 💕🐾💕

UPDATE - THE SWEET BABIES HAVE BEEN ADOPTED❤️🐾❤️

Gorgeous little boy ‘Porterhouse’ (look at those eyes and markings 😻) and his adorable little sister ‘Oliveoil’ (look at her white boots 😻!) are thriving in their foster home 💕

As these little ones are now weighing in at a whopping 2 POUNDS…….we are accepting applications to “pre-adopt” them.

Their sibling Pincone has already been spoken for so please share these babies and help them find wonderful homes!
