Hey Feline Furcrew Rescue followers! I wanted to show you the main reason Mocha is not yet available for adoption. As you can see in the X-ray, the left front ankle is seriously abnormal. His leg was broken prior to the rescue receiving him as a foster but had already healed and x-rays were repeated approximately one month later with zero change. This is the reason I may have to amputate; however, I really hate to do that so I'm going to give him some time out of his crate to see how he does with more free mobility and an ability to jump once the small patch of ringworm he caught from Xena is gone. If it seems like he's going to re-injure himself that leg will have to be removed, otherwise if it seems the leg is usable and he is not in pain it will remain intact. This is one of the unpleasant sides of rescue and I don't know if this was done to him on purpose, which I always hope it was not, or if he was attacked by an animal which was my initial thought when I first took him in. But either way, Mocha is the absolute sweetest cat in the world despite all of his injuries!

Hey Feline Furcrew Rescue followers! Thought I would share the amazing biscuit making ability of Mocha! He is still on medical hold pending whether or not he actually needs the amputation but whomever adopts this boy will get one of the sweetest cats I've ever met and desperately want to keep but I already have six and foster too much for anymore.

Oriane is pondering why she still hasn't been adopted. Is it because of her allergies? Is it because she doesn't like to share her human? She just doesn't know! This poor girl sits and waits for her forever home day in and day out wondering if this could be the day it happens. Sfe was already abandoned once and she longs for a home that won't do the same to her. Her allergy issues are extremely manageable and it's not all that expensive, it equates to approximately $100 per month. Her monthly allergen injection is very easy and her medication for same comes with her. I have no problem continuing to administer it for her new parents if they would like. Orlando but transport can be arranged. $60 adoption fee.

New intake, Smudge! This girl was pulled from Orange County Animal Services and the reason we were able to take this girl is because she's feral and Colony bound once she's recovered. This beautiful girl has mange which is one of the easiest conditions to treat, and one of my favorites, so she will take it easy at the rescue until she is healed and once cleared she will get fully vetted and brought to live out her days with me as her dedicated feeder! My apologies, she would not look at the camera when I took this photo.

Gabby's approximately 1 year old and is an absolute doll! She is spayed, her vaccines are up to date, she is combo negative and microchipped. She doesn't seem too keen on other cats from the get-go but I think with a proper introduction she could be okay. Unknown with dogs and older children would probably be okay. $60 adoption fee, Orlando Florida but can transport within reason.

Hey Feline Furcrew Rescue followers! We are in the serious financial trouble and are having a very hard time keeping up with the medical care for these kitties! They will get care no matter what but our funds are not there and our card is about maxed out. Each one of these cats has some sort of medical issue that requires ongoing medication or veterinary care and none of it is cheap. We probably have spent several thousand over the last few weeks on these guys and intakes are closed predominantly because of this fact. Even basic vetting is difficult to afford at the moment. We cannot continue to help these kitties and be able to reopen intakes anytime soon without your help! Any donations are sincerely appreciated and are tax deductible as we are 501c3 nonprofit. This pretty girl is Snickers! She's estimated to be between about a year and a half and 2 years old. She's not a snuggler or a lap cat and doesn't seem to like attention all that much. She's very picky about the people she likes. She will be like a roommate that coexists with you in your home. She absolutely must be an indoor cat however. Placing her in a home has proven to be difficult. Would anybody be willing to give this girl her forever home knowing she may never be your best buddy? She is fully vetted and fiv/felv negative. Orlando, Florida but can reasonably travel.

Hey Feline Furcrew Rescue followers! We're taking on another baby and this one has stomatitis. Here is the estimate the finder was able to obtain however this doesn't include dental X-rays and a proper Dental includes x-rays. He will be getting the dental done at our vet which will be more around $1,100 as were prior surgeries. Not sure the extent of the teeth that needs to be removed but we will know soon. Y'all our friends at Orange county animal services need your help! Please Foster and adopt if you can! They're bursting at the seams with animals. They will have no choice but to euthanize some of the animals if they can't get them adopted or into foster care. Please step up and help!

Meet the newest intake, Jackson Flame! This boy was pulled from Orange County Animal Services due to their inability to handle him. He was witnessed by a passerby to have been thrown over a retention wall 15 ft down into a retention pond. By the time law enforcement and Animal Control arrived on scene the perpetrators had fled the scene. They were able to contain Jackson and get him to safety but understandably he does not trust humans at this time. He has an amazing Foster who's working with him and intends to adopt him if all goes well.

Tessa, one of my community cats, had some skin issues so she's at the vet. Has to be sedated as she's only feeder friendly but she escaped before they could gas her! Luckily they got her back amd she's good to go! Got convenia and going to monitor her. Her skin was in bad shape and we're not sure if it's flea allergies or other allergies but we shall see!
