Overview
Coffman Tack is seeking an experienced and responsible Retail Manager to oversee daily operations at our store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing store profitability, managing staff, and maintaining inventory. The Manager will be a self-motivated with a passion for fashion and be very dependable.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Team Management:
* Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
* Foster a positive work environment.
* Customer Service:
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns and providing support.
* Manage and resolve any customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
* Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
* Inventory & Merchandising:
* Oversee stock levels and ensure that the store is adequately stocked with all brands.
* Manage product displays and merchandising to optimize sales.
* Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock replenishment.
* Operations & Administration:
* Ensure the store and website operates smoothly on a daily basis.
* Oversee cash handling, daily sales, and other financial activities.
* Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
* Marketing & Community Engagement:
* Support store promotions and marketing programs to attract customers.
* Engage with the local community to increase the store’s visibility and reputation.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Retail Manager or similar role.
* Reliable transportation
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong understanding of retail sales practices, inventory management, and customer service practices.
* Proficiency in MS Office and retail management software.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Shopify
* Prior experience in clothing or horse tack retail environment.
* Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
