African Grey 1 year 5 months old

Spud is still young for training. He whistles a lot, whistles the McDonald’s tune, wolf whistles. Spud sometimes swears, but can be untaught. He gives kisses and he loves a cuddle with both adults and children. He loves to dance to music, and loves the mission impossible tune. He loves toast in the morning, loves fruit and lots of other things, including most of what we eat…. He loves to share. Comes with cage and toys. available request Spud dancing to different tunes…… he loves his music!

They will also come with a large Castello rainforest cage (dimensions below) which can cost up to £1000. In addition, they will come with 2 large perches which they love to use when out of the cage.

We are not a business, we keep and rear parrots as a hobby, based in the New Forest we have been keeping/hand rearing parrots for many years.
They’re beautiful creatures to watch and enjoy, with 11 grandchildren coming and going and a cocker spaniel in permanent residence the birds have plenty going on around them, I sometimes wonder how we have time for our hobby.
Each year we hand rear some of the babies and our 1st babies of 2022 are now in for hand rearing, they will be well socialised super tame with great temperaments, we have around 12 weeks hand rearing to get them underway ready for you shape to your family’s life style and circumstances over the days, weeks months and years that follow.

Each hand reared African Grey parrot comes closed rung with its own unique, A10 certification from DEFRA, information pack (emailed to you), a small starter pack of nutritionally balanced pellets, pet carrier to get your baby home and as much help/advise as you need from us either before or after you get your baby home.
