Counterconditioning reactivity never looks the same between dogs! We have worked with hundreds of cases where reactivity is the main concern and because dogs can be reactive to almost anything, the training always looks a bit different! In Piglet’s case, we are rewarding all positive interactions from the car and on walks! He came to us as a rescue and since we started training, he has developed into a more confident and happy dog!

It’s Louie last day! While we are sad that he’s going home tomorrow, we are excited to see him start new adventures with his family in the next couple of months, Louie is part of our hybrid service dog program where his training is done in parts and also maintained by his family. His next couple of months are going to be focused in creating the bond with his handler and practicing what he has learned during the last two months. Not all dogs are the same but Louie is for sure of the special ones that steal your heart! We can’t wait for Louie to come back!
