I love the white mask she is getting. She's not the biggest girl but she has a lot of personality! Bettas use flaring as a means of communication. A little bit is the behavior of a healthy fish - just be careful no one is getting overly stressed or bullied. 🤗

A sleeping giant 😴 Full solid copper with a body size of 2.5 inches, including his tail he's over 3! Copper is beautiful, this metallic color has notes of blue, red, and silver. I love when my bettas nap on plants.
His name is Haku. ❤️

Stayed up late to get this running, I'm pretty satisfied! Made use of old supplies I got from a trade. Excited to fill it with flora and my male breeders!

Adding more tannins in over time. I used a substrate of organic soil > Sand > Gravel > Small pebbles. I Want new plants to move in & root up! 🪴

This girl is VERY shy and likes to stick to hornwort, I'm happy to see she is doing well, darkening up! Currently she is the baby of the sorority so I was concerned but her fins look great 👍!!

I absolutely love giant sized bettas especially keeping a female sorority. I hope female bettas continue to become more popular in the hobby. The larger bettas are now more appreciated - helping people toward providing these unique fish with bigger homes. Giant bettas are most sought after by passionate breeders who love fishkeeping and buying from breeders removes support of larger corporations that don't give betta the attention they need!
