Day 2 of Wall Crawl opening weekend. We were hired to paint the "window" of this interior storefront. Strawberries and gingham, nostalgic perfection for that cute Summertime scene ... Thank you Wall Crawl creators for all the Summer fun! Looking forward to the fancful photos with this backdrop.

There is a new attraction in ORLANDO ! Happy 1st day open Wall Crawl ! Thank you to the digital image designer and the Wall Crawl staff for trusting us to transfer this design from computer to a RL wall.

On Wednesday we wear Pastels and faces masks...... Okay let me explain, while I am creating the beautiful vignette behind me, across the room of this commercial space, they were spray painting the ceiling white. Nothing like that new construction smell.... Get ready Orlando, something fun is coming to town!

This is a bit different....... We host a booth at Baldwin Park First Friday. A stranger contacted Jane and asked for help proposing to his girl. He had an image of them with their pets, and wanted it hidden somewhere at the fair. With help from his family it was placed among the other pieces in the booth. He brought his girl to the fair tonight. They wandered for a bit and when they got to the booth he pointed out the image, pulled the ring from the canvas and got down on one knee....... She said yes! Although she had to get over the surprise first.

Relaxing....... When we started, the walls were a shade, or five, of yellow over a thick plaster and texture (close up photo). We smoothed the walls for a cleaner appearance and finished with a soft pearlized paint.

A quick fix. Before letting go old furniture, and having to spend time searching for new, consider refinishing your pieces to compliment your new style and home..... This three piece top was toned with stain to an espresso. And the base painted.
