Qualifications:
• Open availability
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Basic horse experienced preferred, but not required
• Reliable
• 18y/o+ preferred

General daily responsibilities may include:
• Cleaning stalls
• Feeding/haying
• Horse turnout
• Blanketing

WestWood Farms is happy to offer competitive pay based on experience. Typical shifts range from 7am-12:00pm and 4pm-6pm, both weekdays and weekends. If you feel that you meet these qualifications and are interested in applying or learning more, please contact Steve at 407-473-7374.

WestWood had a fun and successful time at WEC Fall 4!

Laurel and Quinn took home the blue in the $7,500 Non-Pro 2’6” Derby, as well as reserve in the Intermediate Adult Hunters. Molly Sewell and Quinn were reserve in the NSBA 2’9” Hunters earlier in the week. Heather Smith and Simba were champion in the 3’ Adult Amateur Hunters, as well as Molly and Simba taking 5th in the WEC 3’ Derby. Nicole and Contino received champion in the 0.65m jumpers. Savannah and Eros earned reserve in the Low Children jumpers. Delaney and Panda were reserve in the 3’ Children’s Equitation. Bella and Zorro won their Short Stirrup over fences class, and Molly rode Zorro to champion in the NSBA 2’3” Hunters. Emersen and Neptune received champion in the Short Stirrup Hunters, and Molly earned reserve in the NSBA 2’ Hunters. Lastly, Rhys won his first ever under saddle in the Baby Green division with Molly.

Lots to be happy about with this show, and we are looking forward to starting circuit in January!

We couldn't be more excited for Catie Guy Bean and her beautiful gelding, Pronto, on his first National Derby win! Ridden by Molly Sewell, they achieved impressive scores of 89 and 94, for a combined total of 183.

A big round of applause for Savannah and Isabel for earning Mid-Circuit Champion at HITS Ocala!

Savannah and Bravour received champion in the 14-15 Equitation, while Isabel and Nino claimed champion in both the 12-13 Equitation and Limit Equitation divisions.

We are very proud of these two and everyone competing with the WestWood team!
