Why “Shey’s”?

If you’re here, you likely regard your pets as family; each of them very special in their own way. We carry each of them with us throughout life, even after tearful goodbyes. For a number of reasons, sometimes a pet holds a larger portion of our heart, even long after they have crossed the rainbow bridge. For Dr. Mike, that’s Shey. Shey was Dr. Mike’s first dog as an adult; Also a rescue, Dr. Mike got Shey his first year of his Veterinary program as a 7 year old rescue. She saw him through realizing his dream of becoming a veterinarian, he saw her through two knee surgeries and her golden years. She taught Dr. Mike how much our pets can be family members, not “just a pet”. Dr. Mike wanted more for Shey than just memories and photos. With our clinic Shey leaves a legacy of compassion, education, and of course silliness that we believe sets us apart.
