Bryx, Ivy, and Grace are loving this month’s Japanese/sushi themed KitNipBox! Grace was a baby kitten we found a few months ago in a parking lot - she had a few small injuries and was being treated and cared for by one of our fosters, until one of our volunteers decided to immediately adopt her!

January 50/50 Raffle Drawing
Today was a huge day of kindness!
It was packing and Delivery Day - the culmination of our Homeless Drive. We partnered with Haven of Hope Food Pantry.
THANK YOU to every single person who donated.
Thank you to Laurel for coming up with the idea , thank you to Jeannette and Karen for organizing all of the incoming orders, and thank you to everyone who helped pack up all the packs to distribute. Thank to everyone who did all the heavy lifting and all the distributing.
We were able to donate :
✅60 tents
✅50 total personal hygiene packs that also included blankets (25 for women 25 for men) and additional items such as sleeping bags and food were donated.
From our own Wednesday Hugus:
“We met a woman who was sleeping on the back concrete slab of a home in Paramore with the owners permission. We were able to give her a tent, a sleeping bag, a sleeping pad, tarps and hygiene items and food because of your generosity. She’s just one example and some of the other tents are going to homeless children because yes, we do have that in this country still sadly.”
This entire fundraiser was possible only because of the support we receive from individuals in our community. We are so grateful to all of our volunteers who give so much of their time and efforts to running this group in so many different ways that are all vital to our success.
Thank you for proving yet again that when we come together , we can do great things.

Yesterday we had a very generous member donate a $2000 American Express gift card!
We were flabbergasted by the generosity because they used their points to pay it forward for homeless cats on their credit card 😭
As a result, we were able to buy 5 treatment boxes and an additional 4 nebulizers for the treatment of pneumonia and upper respiratory infections.
We were also able to purchase a ferret nation cage for one of our new fosters who is an ICU nurse for our critical cats and kittens.
We are always blown away by the generosity of this group and we just wanted to point out one more example amongst our very kind members.

We rescued these 3 adorable kittens with their mama from Orange County Animal Services. Mama cat was spayed, vaccinated, and released because she was TNR material. But at least she can live out her life without having any more babies! We are fostering these 3 playful nuggets! Once they weigh enough to be fixed, they will go to Candy's Cats, Inc. There are so many people that each play a role when cats & kittens are rescued! We’re so thankful to have a network full of great volunteers, fosters, and rescue partners that support each other when we can!
