Our farmers and our crops are LOVING this cooler weather. This weekend we noticed how full and vibrant our farmlette located in .apgd is growing! 🌱 We harvested more crops for local schools.

With Thanksgiving this week, what vegetables are the star of your dinner table? We’ll be making Turnip Mashed Potatoes for sure! 🍽️

Like we said, we love our seniors! ☀️ in Sebastian combines growing food with cooking healthy meals to engage seniors on the best part of urban agriculture - eating! 🍴

Shout out to Heron Cove Assited Living & Memory Care for the opportunity to interact with their amazing seniors! Our gardening and cooking classes help seniors to create new memories while promoting a sense of independence in the kitchen.

Shout out to our branch in Sebastian! Partnered with the USDA, and we are leading a senior/focused urban agriculture program aimed to grow food and to share it with our community while educating seniors in the process.

We’re happy to announce we have expanded to 5 new farmlettes! With our sprouts growing bigger everyday. Additionally, we are part of the ChoZen Artisan Market, sharing local produce with the greater community.

Thanks so much to for coming out and helping us to add raised beds and flip our last farm for the season! Together we put together metal raised beds that have been shown to increase food production by improving the uptake of nutrients and water while reducing the presence of “weeds”. These have introduced such an improvement to all of our farms and we’re happy to mark the completion of our switch to raised beds on all of our existing urban farms!

What’s next? We are expanding to new farm plots this season and are on the hunt for the next lawns to convert into micro farms in the neighborhood of Audubon Park, Florida. This effort continues our mission to grow food not lawns! Join us! 🚲🥕✨

Thank you so much to the incredible team at who came out to flip one of our urban agriculture lawns to farms plots for the fall season! 🙏

We appreciate our volunteers so much! Together we adding new soil to our raised beds, used the seeder for turnips kale arugula and beets, and hand seeded carrots and peas! 🥕🥬🫛

Thankful for helping hands to grow food for students this season! Like we said, we have a lot of projects so if you’re looking to come out and farm, it’s the best time of the year to do so. ✌️

Thanks to everyone who came to our Swarm Ride this weekend! We love having new groups come out to take part in our urban agriculture plots such as the Emory Group who was a big help this weekend. 🫶

We are in exciting process of EXPANDING to new farmlette plots in Audubon Park 👏 So we have many projects right now if you’re looking to activate your group in hands-on urban agriculture. The produce will be going to local schools in our area. Details being announced very soon.

Gary’s plot has been planted! This is one of our farm hosts that’s been with us the longest. Our friend Gary is an expert tomato grower so every here he helps to direct us on the tomato production for his plot. 🍅 Thanks to for coming out and farming with us!

Increasing pollinator habitat 🤝Increasing reading literacy

When working with youth all over Orlando, we try to incorporate books as often as possible. Our Read and Seed program seeks to inspire students to love bees and books through interactive pollinator presentations, plantings and book giveaways🐝

We believe reading and seeding go hand in hand! 🌱Check out our recent projects at Pinewoods Elementary and OCPS ACE. Thank you to The Penny Project for making these events possible ✨

Fleet Farming invites you to the farms this Saturday to help with some much needed reseeding and replanting efforts due to a lot of crop damage from Hurricane Milton right at the beginning of our growing season. We will be meeting at located at 3219 Chelsea Street Orlando, Florida 32803 from 9 am - 12 pm. All tools and bikes will be provided.

This hurricane came at an in opportune time as Fleet was right about to announce a very exciting grant program that we are so excited about. Watch out for that announcement soon! Nevertheless, replanting all of our wind damaged crops is very important to be able to feed children and families in our community (*hint *hint* 😊) so any helping hands would be amazing.

Fleet Farming Update: We’re okay! We have some down bananas, wind damaged crops, tossled plant nursery, but our shed is intact and all of our structures aren’t damaged. We’re very thankful.

We encourage you to check in with other local farms such as or to see how you can help with clean up/ replanting efforts.

Be safe on the roads! Many traffic lights are out, stop signs missing, limited gas, and down power lines and trees.

Our hearts go out to all those affected by this terrible storm. We will rebuild and regrow. 🌱 We love you Florida!

Thank you to for granting with the Healthy Communities Grant! We’re so excited to use these funds towards our agricultural education at West Lakes Early Learning Center. These funds will help us to lead educational garden programming and bring fun experiences to our amazing preschool students. 🌱📚 Thanks also to our educators Kellie & Carolina for leading our school programs!
