Hello, I’m Peanut—a 6-lb, 7-year-old Chihuahua with a big personality and a love for doing things my way. Since having surgery to remove my painful eyes, I’m feeling much better, but I still need time and patience to trust new people. I might come off a little strong at first, but once I know you're kind, I’ll be your most loyal little companion.

I’m housebroken, crate trained, and sleep soundly through the night in my bed. I usually ignore other dogs unless they get too pushy—then I’ll let them know who’s boss. I take my watchdog duties seriously, with sharp hearing and a bark that keeps things in check.

Inside, I know exactly where to find my bed, crate, and, most importantly, the kitchen. But my favorite place? Outside! I love exploring and taking in all the scents and sounds. A fenced yard is a must so I can roam safely. Walks on a leash? I’ll tolerate them, but I prefer doing my own thing.

Let’s talk food. After being found abandoned and starving, I take mealtime very seriously. I prefer to eat alone with no interruptions. I tend to bond better with women, but I might warm up to a patient guy who understands Chihuahuas. While I’m not a cuddler, I do enjoy a good neck rub and may join you on the couch—just keep an eye on me because I’ll walk right off if you’re not careful.

I’d do best in an all-adult home with no stairs, no ground-level pools, and a clutter-free space where I feel safe. I’d prefer to be the only pet, though I’m okay with cats.

I’m currently on a slow-kill treatment for heartworm, but it doesn’t slow me down. My rescue can explain the details.

We would love to see this beautiful lab adopted, but we’ll settle for a foster or even a foster to adopt. She’s a labrador as you can see from the picture. She’s two years old. She’s a very sweet good dog. She gets along with all size dogs and she is even cat friendly. She’s very happy and playful., she’s potty trained, and crate. Her name is Kahlúa.. She loves to run. She is as active as you would expect a lab to be.

If you’ve been looking for a purebred lab , Kahlúa is definitely a winner. She’s in a situation right now that is urgent with a deadline and we do need to find somebody to foster her or adopt her as quickly as possible.

Hi! I’m Chico. Will you be my best friend?

I am a 2-year-old, 11-pound cutie who might be a Chihuahua and Dachshund mix (they call that a Chiweenie, but I think I’m more on the Chi side). Once I warm up to you, I’ll be your loyal shadow and best buddy!

I love cozy blankets, squeaky toys, and going for walks. I walk AMAZINGLY on a leash, if I do say so myself! I’m working hard on my potty training, and while I’m mostly crate trained, I’d rather be out and about with you.

I’m a medium-energy kind of guy—perfect for long walks followed by snuggles on the couch. I get along great with dogs big and small, and I’ve even met some cats and did just fine! Little kids make me a bit nervous, so I’d do better with older, respectful children.

New things can be a little scary for me, but with love and patience, I learn quickly that there’s nothing to fear. I’m a sweet, happy boy who just needs a little time to show you how special I am. For a young pup, I’m actually pretty calm and relaxed—and I don’t bark much at all!

I know commands like sit, down, and even recall! I ride well in the car and have been through training to help me feel more comfortable meeting new people. I’ll need a family willing to keep up with that so I can keep getting better!
