We will be closed tomorrow Christmas Day. We will not have a Dr. Thursday or Friday but we will have staff here 7:30-12 for food and medication pick up.

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we let you know that our former Veterinarian,Dr. Michael Burke has passed away. Dr. Burke was a wonderful, caring man and was part of theOrmond Beach community for many years. He loved his job, his clients and all the animals hetook care of. If you would like to send his family a card you can send it to:Lisa Burke 320 Fern Park Dr. Dawsonville, GA 30534.If you would like to make a donation in his memory we will be accepting those here at the office to donate to a local rescue “Great Dawg Rescue” Many of their dogs were cared for by Dr.Burke. You can also make a donation on their website greatdawgrescue.org If you have pictures you want to share feel free to post those and share your memories

Due to a family emergency, our doctor will not be in the office tomorrow. We will have staff there so that you’re able to pick up prescriptions and food previously ordered. We will be calling all the clients who had appointments tomorrow morning to reschedule those. Thank you for your understanding.

Our new home at 240 S Atlantic Ave is coming together beautifully! 🛠️✨ The exam rooms are taking shape, and the reception area is coming to life—we can’t wait to welcome you and your pets into this amazing space.

📅 Remember, we’ll be moving in January, and until then, we’re temporarily closed on Saturdays for December and January as we focus on the transition.

This holiday season, Ormond Beach Family Vet is collecting food donations for both pet and people shelters in our community! 🐾🍲
💸 Donate 5 lbs or more of food and receive a $10 credit for your next visit with us! It’s a small way to give back, and we’ll make sure it goes directly to those who need it most.
🗓️ All donations are due by December 18. Whether it’s pet food or non-perishable items for people, every bit helps.
