Loose Leashes Dog Training

Loose Leashes Dog Training Dana is a volunteer for Sophies Circle Dog Rescue and has worked with unruly dogs for years teaching I train humans to make the best out of their dogs.

Dog Training, specializing in leash walking, behavioral issues such as dog (or other animals) reactivity on walks, not listening, crating, obedience, and general structure. Training Sessions are $185 including training collar. Each session is approximately 2 hours long. Training is done in the owner's home. This is most beneficial to the dog :)

If the holidays are a lot for your dog, then sending them to social the day after would make them real happy! There are two spots left and it’s a combo group. If your dog is under 30 pounds and insecure, this would not be the best group but if your dog enjoys playing with bigger gentle dogs that they would love the ones who signed up.

Loose Leashes, where we truly make dogs better….. progress and more progress.

Sonny was horrified last week. Pure horror around other dogs- even the ones quarterbacking the size of him. Beau, super insecure, came in with HUGE confidence today. Gracie- we had to stick her in itsy-bitsy socials multiple times where she was about 20-30 pounds bigger than all of the other dogs and still afraid of all of them. Today she’s playing with so many different size dogs.

Every last one of these dogs have come so far.

What great dog owners you all are. They are so lucky to have you.

Is there anything cuter than Muffin doing the agility ladder?

There are a couple of spots left in big pup social Tuesday :)

When you have tried what you think was everything …. Redirecting with toys and bones, using treats, and the dog just doesn’t understand that she is doing something wrong, you reach out to a balanced trainer. This is where you learn that you correct the unwanted behavior and reward the new good behavior. Pua didn’t give her owner one second of relaxation when she would try to sit on her couch. We taught her the “back command” meaning stay out of my bubble. Shes doing great and her owner said she seems much happier now that she understands what is wanted and what isn’t. So proud of Sonny and his boy Jack learning how to properly walk on a leash. At only 4.5 months old this pup is now on the right track and I couldn’t love it more that the son is helping out in the training process. This pup sure did a whole lot of pulling and eating stuff up on the walk just yesterday. Huge improvement!

Social group highlight!

The best part of the agility class today was def the agility ladder. The dogs had so much fun and it’s so great for coordination skills! I wish I got each one of the dogs on video! Next class Dec 9th

I had to share this. Now here is a great example of “spoiling your dog”. Spoil them with what they need- exercise, mental stimulation, relationship building, and what is fun for them! Great job Kathy and Stevie!

Just an adorable slo mo video of Little Jack doing hurdles. He has come so far with his fear and reactivity issues. Lots of hard work paying off! Proud of him and his owner!

Whether your dog is afraid of other dogs, reactive to other dogs, or way too excited around other dogs practicing calm existence is such an important component of training your dog . These owners and dogs did great today!
