Home to Home - Jacko

Jacko is a German Shepherd pup, born July 2024.

This young boy is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, good with other dogs and kids, good with cats after introduction. He needs some work on house training but he’s at the perfect age to learn that and a whole lot more! Owner doesn’t have enough time to give Jacko all of the love and attention he needs.

Who will be the lucky person/family to adopt Tippy?

Tippy is good with small dogs, large dogs and cats. He loves to play with balls and rope toys. He doesn’t like having his nails trimmed or to be brushed. Tippy is good in a crate and good being out by himself when alone.

We have come a long ways in the last year and we are down to 22 dogs that have been here at least a year, but most have been here 2 to 3 years. Most of our dogs don't have a sad story other than bad timing in the rescue world and they are waiting way too long for their forever home. I am not going to say that these dogs are all perfect but ask our volunteers and they will tell you how wonderful they are. There are some diamonds in the rough that just need a little attention and training to become your perfect companion.

As far as I know we have never offered an adoption fee this low but winter adoptions have been slow and we want to get some dogs into great homes. All 22 of these dogs have a $50 adoption fee at least through March 15th.

We are open by appointment only but please message us on this business page and we will get you scheduled to meet our dogs at a time convenient to you.

Fuzzy is a young female chihuahua, 9 pound lap dog. Initially shy, Fuzzy quickly adapts. Spayed, with all vaccinations, including rabies, completed on 10/2024. Extremely sweet and energetic, Fuzzy would thrive with another dog to play with.

As February celebrates the spirit of love, Zena requests that you share her post and spread the word about the abundance of love she has to offer. Zena is seeking a new family to share her love with. Away from the rescue, Zena reveals her calm and gentle nature, promising to bring immense happiness to a lucky individual or family. She demonstrates excellent leash manners, gets along with most dogs, and possesses extraordinary talents, including clearing tall fences with ease. It's worth noting that Zena's desire to explore appears to stem from a need to prove her abilities rather than wander aimlessly, however, to guarantee her safety during off-leash outdoor adventures, boundary training or an electric fence may be required.

Who was looking for a small dog?

Knox says he may be small in size but he is big on personality!
Knox is a1 year old Mini Aussie, neutered, micro-chipped, house trained, basic obedience including sit and recall, excellent on leash. Very loving and kind boy with people, he known how to use his voice for attention. Knox likes to be the boss of the little dogs and is a little food and toy agressive with the small dogs in the house, so probably best with no small children also.

We are having a Pop-up event next weekend at Warehouse Thrift. While some choose to go out in the cold and catch fish, we decided to do something a little warmer! We are going to have a Mini Adoption event and a Fundraiser Doggy Photoshoot at Warehouse Thrift in Oroville. Bring your favorite Canine Valentine with you and we will be taking digital photos with a Valentine backdrop (by donation). If you don't have a dog, no problem! We will have a couple wonderful dogs at the event and you may just find your perfect Valentine companion and we will take a picture of both of you!
