Thank you for the outpouring of kindness in our community. The River Road team will truly miss taking care of your pets. We are working very hard to ensure that our River Road pets can receive medical care by other area veterinarians. If you are a current client of River Road, we will transfer your pets’ medical records to another veterinary hospital. If you don’t have a pet at River Road right now, we ask that you let us help our pet parent clients first. Please be compassionate to your veterinary care teams. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this transition.

River Road Veterinary Hospital will close its doors on May 31, 2023 and our staff will be there to help you until June 8, 2023.

With mixed emotion we announce that Dr. Neville will soon begin a new chapter in her story. Monday October the 17th will be her last day seeing patients with us at River Road. While we prepare to miss her special presence in the hospital, we also fully support her right to rest and choice to explore what comes next. Don’t worry, she’s just taking a well-deserved break for a few weeks and will be available to see patients in the local area again very soon!

Clients of record at River Road will be receiving an email containing necessary details in the following weeks. Owners of pets currently on Dr. Neville’s appointment schedule will be contacted directly by a member of the River Road care team just as soon as possible.
We thank you in advance for joining us in sharing a fond farewell and wishing all the best for Dr. Neville. We also appreciate your patience while we carefully see to the needs of this transition. Please help us to be timely and effective in providing direction by emailing the hospital at [email protected] for transition inquiries rather than calling the main line as this will keep the phones available for medically urgent patient needs. Today and the forecast for next week shows weather above 85 headed our way. Although perfect weather for swimming out at camp or hanging out on the shores... its is not the best time to ride with your pets. 10 minutes in a car with cracked windows can result in the temperature being over 100F! Be safe and when in doubt, leave them at home. You have to have the windows all the way down to allow enough ventilation to avoid heat stroke and that's also not safe for your dog. Keep safe and enjoy the lovely weather!
