This business takes a lot of blood, sweat, tears, money, time, resources. And it’s days like this when you’re just not sure why the heck you’re still doing it…

Today we unexpectedly and tragically lost our dear Sirius.
We were so blessed to have him if only for these few months!
It’s the here today gone tomorrow kind of thing that makes it so difficult!
Fly high little man! We will miss you dearly!

Santa came early to the barn! He brought us blanket racks for holding all of the things! Our stockings are still hung with care hoping to be filled with donations for equine body work for all our horse staff!

Don’t forget, this year for Christmas our herd is asking for donations towards body work!
Did you know horses receive all kinds of body work? Massage, chiropractic, acupressure, acupuncture and more! Like any other athletes, caring for their bodies is an important part of maintaining happy healthy lesson horses!
Each horse has a Christmas stocking on their door for $ towards body work!

Miss Alana! She’s out barn manager, the glue that’s holds us together on the day to day, and most recently our Friday evening instructor!

“Hey y’all! I’m Alana and i’ve been a student of Vanedra’s for the last six years so you might have seen me around the barn. In the past 6 years i’ve been a working student/intern for Vanedra, a show host at Land of Little Horses, a wrangler for a battlefield horseback tour company, a barn manager at a sale barn, and now i am the barn manager for Introspection Horsemanship! I am also taking my first step into the instructor world and i am excited to be able to teach you and help you along in your equine journey. I can’t wait to see you in the saddle and accomplish your goals!”

We really need something that walk, trot canters easily for beginners.
Gender, breed doesn’t matter.
Prefer something not under 15ish hands.
Lease situation is ideal.

When they hay stall is getting low and now the whole world can see what you’ve done….(Sirius ate so much hay straight out of the hay stall bars that two entire bales are missing….we never had this problem with Jack because his mouth was too big to fit)
