We LOVE a good update! Tux and Pumpkin (formerly Alfred and Ravioli) are doing fabulous. They went to their new home back in December. Look how much they have grown! 🩷

This is Cheddar! We think he is around 8 weeks old. He just showed up on my mom’s doorstep soaking wet and hungry! He is spunky! He loves to run and pounce and he has the cutest little gallop!

Meet Ugg! He was born on April 13th, so he is just over 10 weeks old. He is a tiny little thing but he loves to eat! He will lay on you and hold you down all day! He likes to play but he would rather snuggle! His momma died during childbirth and he and Gandalf have been bottle fed since day 1.

We have added to our flock! 4 new chicks: 2 colored Orpingtons and 2 Chanteclers, and 2 CRESTED ducks… were so excited for these ducks!

We are “sitting” on, (chicken pun intended), roughly 15 dozen chicken eggs, and 1 dozen duck eggs… chicken eggs are $3 / dozen or 2 / $5… duck eggs are $3 a dozen flat.

Less than 24 hours after we posted that we were open for intake we were contacted about this litter of kittens. Their mom died during the birthing process. We have had them since they were under 24 hours old!

OMG, I LOVE an update! Sweet Alfredo was adopted from us back in December. Look how big he is now! 🥰 This thrills my soul!!!

Cleaned out all the water containers for the chickens and wiped off the mud on the food and water bowls. Pig is getting to eat his dinner in the yard this evening

Today was one of the toughest days as a parent. Our son Dru's cat, Nacho, who was our first rescue, was put to sleep this morning due to kidney failure. The entire family cried but Dru' has been doing much better than we expected him to... He's a lot tougher, emotionally, than we give him credit for.. When we got home, he insisted on doing the work to bury him in the back yard.. Nacho is at peace now... Dru asked God to take good care of him and make sure he had plenty of food...
