Thank you to all who stopped by during my trial run for my farm stand these past few weekends. I am closed for the season, but plan to open again garden season 2023, and God-willing have the stand open 7-days per week in 2024!

WHY ORGANIC LOCAL FLOWERS?

We are proud to be a part of a new movement in the US toward sustainably grown, locally sourced, organic seasonal flowers that support the local pollinators of this area!

Our flowers are grown using sustainable practices: zero dangerous chemicals here so feel free to breath in deep their wonderful earthy scent.

Currently, more than 80% of flowers purchased in the United States are grown overseas. These flowers are raised with heavy use of dangerous pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides, and under very poor labor conditions.

Buying organic local flowers, much like buying organic local food, is all about what one cares for: purchasing organic local flowers: say no to harsh chemicals, to exploitative labor practices, to carbon emissions from long-distance shipping.

Local flowers are a long-lasting alternative to traditional flower sources. By the time you purchase flowers at a grocery store, they can be as much as a week old, meaning they often last just a couple of days in your home. When you buy our bouquets, you know that the flowers were harvested within the last day, meaning they will last at least a week and likely much longer in the vase with proper care.
