Adoption Fees:
Dogs are available for only $150. This includes vet exam, current vaccinations, heartworm testing, Microchip implant & spay/neuter! We always get asked if we have any small dogs available for adoption, usually the answer is no but not this time! We have FOUR small dogs looking for their forever homes.

We also have a 12 week old male Heeler/Border Collie mix available for adoption!

Their will be a $5 entry fee per animal this year with all proceeds going directly to the shelter. This year has been rough financially for everyone and we are no exception! Even if you don’t want to participate, come out and check out all the animals! More details can be found on the attached flier.

Many of you might remember Molly, the senior Pit mix that was left outside the shelter. Well we have an update for you that she’s doing great and living her very best life!

She went to live with Cinder and Barbie (now Chloe and Maggie) two extremely shy pups that their adopter was very patient with! All three dogs are doing great! It’s a good reminder to give the underdogs a chance. 💕

Is your tractor buddy seat empty and looking to be filled?! Well, we might have the solution for you! Meet Captain!!

This sweet guy is a 7 month old Heeler/Border Collie mix but don’t let his age fool you! He already knows how to sit, come when whistled to and plays fetch well. He’s kennel trained and house broken! He would do best where he can be active and be with his person. He’s already shown us he is quite the Velcro dog and just wants to be wherever his people are. He just needs to be neutered before he goes to his forever home but we’ll take care of that!

We are pretty confident that if you come meet him you’re going to fall in love! We are open Monday-Thursday 9-12 and Saturdays 9-2 so stop in and meet him! Or call (641)340-1180 to set up a time to come meet him.

Exciting news! Both Reno and Patty have been adopted this week!

Now through the end of May dog adoption fees are reduced to $75 and cats to $35. We also now have a link showing all our available animals online listed on our page.
