We recently made the decision to geld Boomin At Nite “Boomer” and start the search for our next prospect. Boomer has been very talented and throws gorgeous babies but with carrying the one copy of MY we felt this was the best decision. We plan to keep him at this time as our using gelding and look forward to seeing the 2025 babies out of him.

We are back home and have recuperated from the IBHA World Show. Placings didn't go exactly as planned, but the laughing, cheering and memories made were definitely worth it.
Trailer Park Tina : top 10 in Amateur Mares 2 and under, Top 10 in Yearling Mare Halter. DQ'd in In-Hand Trail because of a pilot error.
Boomin At Nite: top 10 in Ranch Trail.

A little late posting, but want to brag on "Trailer Park Tina". I showed her at the WBHA the beginning of June. She won Yearling Halter Mares under all 7 judges over the 3 day show. She held her own in Amateur Halter Mares and even came away with a Reserve Halter Mare Champion under 1 judge and Circut Champion for Yearling Halter Mares. In-hand trail she did good, it showed me what we needed to work on. Lunge line...well...definitely needed more practice. For her 2nd show we went to HBHA in Mason City. She got 2 1sts and 2 2nds in Yearling Halter, 3 1st and 1 2nd in In-Hand Trail and 4 2nds in Lunge line. I'm proud of her placings, but more proud of her laid back attitude and how she just took everything in. I should of expected her disposition, she is Cowboys full sister. UMBA this weekend and IBHA World Show the 21st! Wish us luck! 🤞🍀

She has a sweet disposition and is a very quick learner. She is good for the farrier and to bathe. She has a pedigree full of performers. Her sire is an IBHA World Champion in Ranch Horse Pleasure. She is also a grand daughter of the great Tomcat Chex. She is eligible for the IQHA Ranch Horse Futurity. She will definitely be a great asset to your show horses and then broodmare band later. Just a public service announcement....this was sold as "kid broke" horse (POA) at a local sale. Nothing against the horse sale, they only advertise what the owners tell them. I will say I am TOTALLY ashamed and quite pi**ed that the owners thought it was ok to lie about the horse. My guess is the horse was given some "happy juice" the day of the sale. Sellers like the ones who sold this horse are giving the local auctions bad reps. Not only are the new owners out the money they paid, now they have to make the decision to put more money into him to resell, or sell him as a project horse. Neither decision will unbreak the little girls heart he was bought for.

It was a rough day here for everyone. Nelly was completely blind in one eye and starting to limp and be ouch on her feet. She was the most versatile mare. Everyone in the family showed her in one event or another. Braden showed her in Halter, Western Pleasure, Barrels, Poles and Sortings. Osten showed her Halter, English Pleasure, Hunter Hack and even used her in a Costume Class. Christopher and myself sorted on her. She has been a great broodmare and definitely out-produced herself like the good ones do. She will be greatly missed. Run free sweet girl...❤️❤️

So we made the trip to Arkansas to the Ozark Foundation Breeders annual sale and purchased his full Buckskin sister. So excited to see what her future will hold. After a lot of discussion and thought this young 2017 AQHA gelding is looking for his new home. He would make a great Youth or Amateur horse with his laid back demeanor. Last couple years he has been shown in the International Buckskin Horse Association Buckskin Bred Division ending high point ranch horse every year in the standings. He has amassed 6 World Championships and 2 Reserve World Championships and numerous points. He has been shown in numerous other events in Ranch Horse Competition always ending up in the top 5.
