When looking for a pet sitter for you furry family member, plz remember NOT all pet sitters are the same. A LOT of people do this "on the side" "to make extra money". 😩This is NOT their passion, life, or career. Below is an example of what can happen when you don't hire a reputable, long-standing sitter in your area. 😢 I get A LOT of my clients thru mishaps w/this business unfortunately. Friends, Ethan is such a good boy and we don’t know why this happy, playful guy has been waiting so long for his forever family. He has a ton of personality and would be a great dog to train, or a perfect walking partner. He is loved here at the shelter because of how kind of a dog he is, he is bound to make you laugh.
-3 years old, 60 pounds
-Motivated by treats and toys
-Recommended for children around age 13 and up (he was called “the fun police” by his first adoptive home - when the younger kids would run around and wrestle he’d get upset and bark and nip at their legs- he likes to be the most active one in the family!)
-No cats for Ethan - he likes to chase them too much!
-Selective about dog playmates- seems more comfortable with dogs smaller than him.

Calling all beagle lovers! Roman is a sweet and adventurous boy who loves attention, sniffing around and being with his person. He loves pets, walks and just being a part of what ever you're doing. He is housetrained and crate trained. He has a moderate energy level and would be an awesome addition to your home.
-3 years old, 36 pounds
-Knows his basic commands 'sit', 'down'.
-Suggested for children teen age and above
-Would do best as the only dog in the home (he doesn’t like to share his stuff, or his food, with other dogs).
- Lived with cats before
-Neutered, microchipped, vaccinated

Update 1/14: Foster found!

We are looking for a foster home for three adorable, 7-ish-week-old mixed-breed puppies: Frieda, Bjorn, and Benny! We are seeking a foster home for approximately two weeks until they can be spayed/neutered. All supplies, food, and a crate/x-pen and p*e pads will be provided! Interested? Note: Fosters must live within a 30-minute drive of OAHS for animal medical care purposes.
