Daycare:
We believe that doggie daycare is a great alternative to staying home alone while the family is gone for work or school. While at the resort, your pet will release tons of extra energy, be socialized and have the attention they love. Throughout the day they play with their furry friends while exploring and bouncing around with the toys. They take naps when they want to in the daycare unless asked to be put in a private run. If your dog has any special needs or requires a lunch we are happy to oblige. We provide a structured daycare, which allows us to advocate for all types of dogs that come to our daycare. Our indoor play area is totally air conditioned and heated to protect your special pet from the elements. When weather permits, they play outside in our huge 13,000 square foot play yard. We feel that all dogs benefit from socializing with dogs of all shapes and sizes. These spacious areas have plenty of toys and obstacles to play on. In order to do a proper assessment during the first visit, where it is important for the dog to adjust to their new environment and be slowly introduced to the group, we require that all new guests come in around 10:00 AM and stay with us until after 4 pm.
We offer a 10% multiple dog discount.
Boarding:
The top priorities in our state of the art boarding and daycare facility are cleanliness and safety to ensure your special family member has a fun, enjoyable and safe stay, and you have peace of mind! - We pride ourselves in the cleanliness of our facility - all surfaces are thoroughly disinfected and our ventilation uses an ultraviolet germicidal system designed with our guests’ welfare in mind. - Your pet will be very comfortable - we provide fresh linens for their kennel and stainless steel water dishes (checked frequently) and food dishes. Our caring staff will treat your family member like their own, continually monitoring them during their stay. All of our guests are taken out for potty at least four times a day, and the last potty break is about 9:00 pm before a good night rest. - We highly recommend you enhance the stay of your pet with daycare so they can socialize all day, and sleep well at night. Our experienced staff are always with your dogs in daycare ensuring they are having fun in a safe environment. We have a climate controlled indoor area and a large outdoor play area for your dog’s enjoyment.
We offer two types of boarding accommodations
The Premium Suite (4 foot x 4 foot) -This ultra clean spacious area is just the place for a good night sleep after daycare. Our suites ensure your pet has privacy & security with privacy walls between kennels but with doors permitting them to view other dogs. Nightly Rate $30.00
The Luxe Suite (4 foot x 14 foot) -With the same top quality as our Premium Suite, the Luxe Suites have an additional 10 foot private run that is attached. Most of our guests see this area as “their” private play area. If you have more than one dog and they would enjoy sharing a kennel, we offer discounts for multiple dogs in our Luxe Suites. While boarding we offer a discounted daycare.
Include Half-day Daycare –add $11.00
Include Full day Daycare – add $16.00
There will be an extra $5.00 charge for dogs boarding with us that do not use our daycare. Those dogs require special handling and staff attention. Just like a hotel, check-out time is 1:00 PM (for pick-up after 1:00 PM there is an additional late fee charged except on Sunday hours)
Training:
We offer several types of training.
Puppy Beginners with Wendy Leroux
This training course for dogs under 6 months to address your specific training needs. The course covers basic training requirements such as beginning leash walking and waiting, greeting people politely, come when called, and leave it. In addition to these puppy behaviors, the course addresses and provides training on specific dog issues, such as socializing, barking, jumping, unwelcome chewing or biting, and any other questions or concerns specific to the class members and their dogs. Puppy socialization is vital to your dog’s overall healthy attitude. There is a prime “window of opportunity” to socialize a puppy and that window is prior to 16 weeks of age. You will be encourage to play alternative games that teach your dog good manners and build confidence. You can’t turn back your clock and socialize a puppy. Plus, it’s great fun for the whole family! It helps for families to hear advice and coaching from our experienced puppy trainer. Our classes are held in 5-6 week increments and are held on Wednesday nights starting at 6:30PM. Foundations class with Jessi Nerenhausen
This training course is for dogs 6 months and older to address your specific needs. The course covers the basic training requirements such as controlled walking and waiting, staying in place, come when called, and leave it. In addition to these foundations, the course addresses and provides training on dog specific issues such as barking, jumping, unwelcomed chewing or biting, food possession issues, and many other questions or concerns specific to class members and their dos. The course is run by Jessi, who has years of experience. The lead trainer, trains our dog handlers in our daycare. She can show you how to communicate with your pet(s) to achieve your personal goals at home. Our classes are held in 4 week increments and are held on Monday nights starting at 6:45PM. The classes are on average 1 ¼ hrs. The cost is $110+tax.
