Penny is back! Penny completed a Puppy Training Program and she is back to do obedience training. Penny and her family are doing a Board and Train Program. Her sister Pepper just completed her Board and Train Program, so now it’s Penny’s turn. Penny’s personality is totally opposite her sister. She is very mellow and occasionally gets stubborn. She is a sweetie though and doing great so far!

Pepper goes home today. I’m excited for her owners to see what she has learned. One of the things her owners wanted to work on was for her to be able to calm down. Pepper has a lot of energy. Pepper has been learning the place command. She has been doing really good with it. It has helped her to learn to chill. She has been able to be calm even when she really wants to go play with the other dogs.

Pepper went on a few field trips to practice her training. This was really good for Pepper to get her exposed to some different things. We went to the pet store, Hobby Lobby and a baseball game. She did very well!

Pepper is back! Pepper completed a Puppy Training Program and she is back for obedience training. Pepper and her family are doing a Board and Train program. Pepper is a sweet girl but has a lot of energy and trouble calming down. We will be working with her to teach her to calm down and follow instructions.

This is Milo! Milo is a 12 week old puppy. Milo and his family are doing a Puppy Training Program. Milo is doing great! He is a sweetie!

Sterling has been doing great with her training! We have been taking field trips to various places to practice. Sterling has gotten better and better with each trip. She can walk nicely through the store and behind a cart. She can walk nicely past people and distractions. She has done very well. I’m excited for her owners to see what she has learned.

Benji’s owner sent an update and some pictures of how Benji is doing with his training. Benji had done an off leash board and train program. So proud of these guys and how they are keeping up on their training!

This is Benny! Benny is a 3 month old Portuguese Water Dog/ Poodle mix. Benny and his family are doing a Puppy Training Program. In Puppy Training we go over a variety of things such as play biting, potty training, socialization, crate training, handling and grooming, desensitization to sounds and objects, and more. Benny and his family are doing a great job!

This is Sterling! Sterling is a 1 year old Labrador Retriever. Sterling is doing a Board and Train program. While Sterling is here we will be working on not pulling or jumping, being calmer around people and dogs, and much more. Sterling is off to a great start. She is a sweetie!

I wanted to share my latest endeavor with everyone. My new business Grace & Grit Poodles.
Someone asked me what does that mean, poodle business? I hope to be breeding, raising, and showing quality, purebred standard poodles. Many of you are familiar with my dog Addie. She has come along to many training lessons. Some of you have helped me practice for shows with her. She is done showing and has completed all her health testing. Our next step is I hope to breed her. I am just starting to make plans for her first litter. I don’t have everything worked out yet.

It’s been a great Spring Break week! We’ve had a great group of dogs. Thank you to all my wonderful clients for entrusting me with your dogs. All the dogs have done a really good job!!
