HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!! Hats off to the Oswego Village!!! WE ALREADY HAVE OUR BUSINESS OCCUPANCY PERMIT!!! THEY START FRAMING MAYBE THIS WEEK! And cutting concrete next week!!! By Monday at the latest!!! IT’S REALLY STARTING!!!! Join Berlin in a happy dance with us all!!!!

No major updates to actually write home about, but small things continue to progress! Our in house progesterone machine took her maiden voyage! We’re calibrating her against gold standard laboratory machines. We have a website domain and email addresses reserved, though we haven’t built the website yet and we’re working through some email kinks… They’re not actually operational yet! But soon! We have a finalized floor plan from the architect and permits for the build out have been applied for! The special flooring for the exam rooms and patient areas in back of house has been decided on and should be ordered tomorrow or Monday! Even though we had a lot of the big pieces of equipment picked out from the big veterinary conferences, there’s still SO MUCH MORE! And we’ve done lots and LOTS of research on everything from pipettes to liquid nitrogen dewars to cryotanks. There is still a lot more to learn before we take the plunge and actually spend our finite resources, but we make headway every day! We even found a couple potential suppliers for medical grade oxygen and liquid nitrogen! Just gotta get prices to narrow down who. Derek Koch has donated even more of his time to research computers, server equipment, and other electronics needed for the clinic. We should have a definite idea of those needs and corresponding budget within a week or two. Matt Lynch donated a ton of time helping us figure out flooring and getting us more aggressive bids! Sometimes it’s tough being married to us! It’s all percolating nicely! Seriously hoping to take advantage of some of the sales surround Memorial Day for the less specialized purchases (like refrigerators, a dishwasher, and some of the electronics). All these steps and stuff allow us to provide not only general practice well and ill pet care, but canine reproductive care to include canine semen cryopreservation! We’re still moving at an aggravatingly slow pace for our liking, but were still hoping an Augu
