Meet Duncan (black) and Muffins (tabby), one of our most recent pet sit add ons. Duncan was quite social, with Muffins being a lot more shy, and only coming out after sitting them multiple times. We enjoyed our time with them, and they were easy sits, cuddling with Duncan, and just checking in on Muffins, who was usually hiding under the bed.

Say hello to Lotus and Melody! We’ve been watching Lotus for many years now, with Melody more recently adopted.

Lotus is a senior mixed breed dog, with her breeding up in the air, I’d love to hear people’s guesses as to what they think she may be. She’s very protective of the home but warms up pretty quickly. Walks excellent on leash and loves a good post walk snuggle ❤️

Melody is a younger happy go lucky gal who mildly pulls and loves to watch for squirrels. She enjoys playing with toys and will play a bit of fetch, but enjoyed her snuggles as well ❤️

Sweet sweet Ava. Was one of our regular weekly walkers. I’m afraid I don’t have any recent pix of her feline sisters, Violet and Hazel, hopefully can find some at a later time.

Ava is a special girl, one we had been watching since she was a small pup. True to the boxer breed she was wiggly and bouncy and completely silly, which made her all the more fun to hang out with. Walked pretty well on leash, knew to stop at every corner without being told. And she trained herself to potty at home, she rarely ever pottied on walks. Those who we’ve watched since puppyhood are the hardest to say goodbye to, as we’ve watched them grow and mature into the dogs they are today. We will miss her mug and her silly antics, and our special game of “boop”

Say hello to Hero and Zuzu. Such a fun loving pair.

Hero is temperamental chap but his bark is worse than his bite. He’s all show, just a nervous Nellie who takes a bit to warm up to you. He loves his walkies. Loved to bark at other dogs, and loves to have zoomies after his poopies……lol.

Zuzu is a little spitfire…..lol. She is like a Mexican jumping bean, always on the go go go. LOVES food and loves looking for morsels on the ground when on her walk. 😒😒 She has also taught this bad habit to Hero so have to watch like a hawk on their walks so they don’t eat anything inappropriate.

Both love their one on one time and getting their cuddles. Hero enjoys his back rubs. Zuzu just wants to lick you. Both are very sweet dogs once they get to know you. ❤️

Tank and Nikki, are quite the pair. Nikki is such a sweet lab, true to their nature. She adores belly rubs and a good game of catch. But mostly wants to be loved on.

Same goes for Tank. Was often hard to get my work done b/c he was constantly in my face, laying and rolling around on my workbook, begging for some lovin’. One of the most affectionate cats I have had the pleasure of knowing and I will miss him 💔 He also had some of the softest fur I’ve ever felt.

Meet Guy and Buddy! We’ve shown Buddy before but Guy is a new addition, found as a stray in the neighborhood that nobody claimed. He’s still adjusting to the home, having been there for only a few months. He’s a very handsome boy, I wish the image showed his tail but he wouldn’t hold still long enough for me to get a nice or in focus photo of his whole body…..lol. But his tail is amazing! Giant plume!

They are kept in separate areas of the home while I’m pet sitting as Buddy is on a special diet for diabetes and Guy is food obsessed. So they each get their cuddle time while I’m there. It’s nice watching cats who love to snuggle ❤️

We will miss Roofus quite a bit. We have spent a lot of time with him over the past year or so, as his dad’s travel schedule increased. We have cared for him, as well as his rainbow bridge brother for several years now.

Roofus can be a challenging dog, and true to terrier personality, quite bullheaded….lol. But he’s also a big sweetheart, who has had his own health struggles over the past year or so. He’s doing pretty well now with a dietary change. Another senior, now that he’s feeling better, he’s not slowed down at all. Such a handsome boy! ❤️

As Zoo Crew is getting ready to permanently close its doors for health reasons, I want to try and post the multitude of photos I have on my phone.

This is Winston. He’s a very handsome senior English setter. Loves being outside, and loves to play inside, and LOVES his treats….lol. Just like me, his mobility has declined a little bit and he loses his footing on occasion. But it doesn’t slow him down any, he just gets up and continues running. I wish I could still do that 😪 Winston holds a special place in my heart as my dad’s name is Winston. ❤️

Zoo Crew would like to welcome Winston to our petsit roster! We’ve actually watched Winston a few times but are behind on our welcome posts so figured it was time he got his day to shine!

Winston is an English setter, and a handsome one at that. He’s a senior fellow, loves his treats, walks nicely on leash, and still enjoys a good game of tag.

Zoo Crew would like to welcome Smalls, Marbles, Opia, and Nara as petsit clients. We’ve actually watched them several times now but have never introduced them so here they are. The dogs are sweet, altho Marbles has some serious anxiety issues, which he is on meds for. Common, unfortunately in cocker spaniels. The cats are extremely food motivated and demanding……lol. Overall they are pretty easy keepers, and we enjoy our time with them. ❤️

Sweet sweet Hugo taking a short breather at Aurora University campus and enjoying their beautiful vegetation and gardens.

Such an easy boy, dogs like him make this job worthwhile. I enjoy our occasional walks together when his owners are visiting their grandkids for the day. Win-win-win for everyone involved ☺️ Plus his mom makes us homemade dog treats for my own two pups, which they greatly appreciate ❤️
