Welcome Wally! Wally was abandoned in a boarded up apartment. When the finders gained entry he was frightened and found refuge in the gaping holes in the walls of the delapitated apartment building for some time. Wally is approximately 12 weeks old and the sweetest little love bug who loves to snuggle and cannot wait to join his forever home!

We've been keeping a little secret :). Last week on New Year's day we welcomed four of the cutest baby girls into the PAOC family. We would like to thank the Oswego animal shelter for taking such wonderful care of them for the past eight weeks. They are 9 week old shepherd/hound mixes and absolutely adorable! In the past seven days we have learned that the girls are the sweetest snuggle bugs that keep us giggling at their happy antics. Welcome loves!

Please welcome Rex into the PAOC family. It is true that PAOC focuses on local shelters and dog control facilities but every once in a while an owned animal needs our help and protection. Rex is 5 months old and has already been in 2 homes with the second home having a dog already who was not kind to Rex. Rex is a very and smart guy who will be available soon after his neuter. Isn't he just adorable!

Trudy, formerly Astrid has rejoined the PAOC family recently due to no fault on her part. Trudy was adopted in April and spent those 8 months in the only home she has ever known. While this is always very difficult for us it is very sad and confusing for her but she is adjusting well. We will keep everyone in the loop as she acclimates and we learn more about her. Trudy will be looking for her forever home soon so stay tuned.

And we have some amazing news! Momma Lisa who was in danger of being euthanized came to us this summer and delivered her babies with us just 1 1/2 weeks later. All of her babies found their forever but Lisa's wait was a bit longer then one of our volunteer team fell in love and welcomed her into their home. To say we are over the moon that Lisa is in her forever home is an understatement. We wish her only the happiest day ahead!

We look forward to another year of loving and caring for the innocent lives that undoubtedly leave paw prints on our hearts. Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!

Graham the entertainer. Always making us smile and chuckle. Graham is 5 1/2 months old and come to us from CNYSPCA when they needed help making space for over 20 huskies quickly. Graham is just a baby but weighs 43 pounds already :). Graham is clean in his kennel and amazes us everyday that such a young pup who was born at and grew up in the shelter is housebroken! Graham is very very smart and we are certain the he will make a wonderful addition to any family. He's just adorable! Smile

With broken hearts we must share the news that Aladdin gained his angel wings today. Aladdin came to us October 2nd, after being found as a stray and never claimed. Aladdin was a very very sick baby who was immediately hospitalized and sadly his body couldn't fight any longer. The kindest thing to do for him was let him go to run, play and be pain free wth the other angels. Our deepest gratitude to the entire team at Lake Ontario Veterinary Clinic who cared and loved him every day for over six weeks and did everything in their power to heal him. Our hearts go out to Dr. Danielle and her family who welcomed Aladdin into their home and fostered him, the sadness is overwelming. Aladdin was able to know what a family is even for an incredibly short period of time. Aladdin was not with us nearly long enough but he surely left his paw print on alot of hearts and we will always love him. Run free baby boy
